Glad you had a doctor's appointment and got stuff sorted.
Well done for standing up for what you need and not giving in to sibling.
Hope you had a lovely weekend. Christmas bargains sound good.
Hope side effects settle downAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Skinty and SH
I've tried calculating it as a bonus, as cash benefits and even altering the salary as if that's my new monthly income, but I cannot get the figures to match.
Had a good chat with a colleague today who was appalled with everything that's gone on since I started. Interestingly I was told B1 isn't actually a B, shouldn't have said they were and has urged me to report everything; I was going to soon when there was no chance of 'revenge'.
Side effects are easing a bit, but I still won't step out the door alone yet or drive. Hopefully I'll be able to revise this week.
I've added an extra 2x15 minutes to the heating as it's really cold and expected to be like this for the next couple of weeks. Total change from the day when I had windows open!
TomBo is taking me on a day trip Friday. We'll be present shopping and meeting a few of his workmates to drop surplus plants and things to them.

Had to as it's -2° / -3° this week. I managed to have the window open for a few hours this morning, but quickly closed it lunchtime.
I've been practicing with my new camera. It's nice to grab and use without thinking what lens to use. I'll have a proper look at the photos on my monitor this week and see how they've turned out / compare to my SLRs. Still haven't read the instructions, it's on my to do list, as is cleaning my other gear.
Powered through work today, just a few more weeks until I can relax. TomBo went for a bike ride as he's got a very long weekend off.

We had snow today 😀
I'm able to get away without having the heating on during the day, aside from first thing, however the temperature drops about 3pm.
TomBo did the shopping today, only has one more lot of gifts to get, and handed me two bunches of carnations.
I had a shower this afternoon, slipped into PJs, made a hot water bottle and snuggled on my chair. Woke myself up a few times and put it into recline for another doze 🤭
I've moved some money to savings, sent sibling a gift and moved money to holding ready for January bills.
We're having a day out tomorrow. I'll take my camera just in case there's opportunities; I will check the photos on my laptop when I get back. Must charge my batteries in a bit.

Hope you get lots of great photo opportunities with your new camera in the snow ❄️Our heating comes on at 3pm as I find the temperature drops then here too. We are due to have -6 here tonight. I took a few photos but it was icy cold out.
We delivered some gifts and TomBo was given some tablet to pass to me, I'll enjoy that later.
We went to the deli and he picked up gifts, I was picking up fancy meat slices for the weekend and ended up frozen on the inside. Didn't stop for photos on the way back as I couldn't warm up even with the car heater on full blast.
I've snuggled on my chair in PJ's, dressing gown, blanket and made a hot water bottle at 3pm. Heating goes on at 6pm.
Sent an O/P to the mortgage and I'm going to aim at having it down to £56k by the time the next statement arrives.
I'm contemplating pausing this exam and taking it during the next sitting. It will give me a lot more time, I'll be fully settled on these meds and potentially the study burnout would have passed because of slowing down. I'll see how I get on with revision this weekend.
- it's hard as I want to balance personal life, work and studies.
The survey company did another bonus, do 3 and get £2 extra, I made £5 in total during that sitting 🤭
We're having butternut squash and pepper soup, homemade, tonight 😀

It's all a balancing act and also working out what provides the most pleasure, joy and happiness.
I've had the heating on intermittently in the day as it's sub-zero temperatures, downside is it's got me thinking about the cost. There's no way my PT hours will cover winter use.
Yesterday we went through all our books and have a load to donate to a bookshop today. We'll be organising the flat a bit better and I'll do another check of my clothes to see what else I can donate; I'm looking at party clothes as I won't be using them now. Also, looking at surplus furniture and rehoming a few bits as we can then rearrange the bedroom. Plus have a general clear out as we've kind of stuffed things in places and not really done anything; mainly my fault as it has been a weird year.
Anyhow, time to wrap up and brave the outside!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3
