  • Thanks SH and Skinty

I've 2 sets of white / clear lights, 1 set of white stars and a cherry blossom bonsai tree that lights up; I may leave the tree out after the holidays as the colour scheme goes well in the lounge.

I have done a bit in the shower room, filled a wicker basket with the toilet rolls and tucked it into a corner. Next time I go in I'll sort my toiletries out 🤭

I've cleared the lounge table, put bits away that was on it, wiped it over and need to select what glassware (small vase, sweet holder type) will be placed on it and get that finished next time I move.

Some of the bigger / more involved things I'll do lunchtime.

I'm trying to slot bits in so there's less for me to do later 😀

This is great. I should do the same except i am sitting here looking at a pile of marking. Yuk.

  • Thanks SW, intermingle marking with organising and it makes both easier.

I put my spare toiletries in a wicker basket, tucked that one under the toilet roll basket and organised my toiletry shelf.

I slipped my nightwear box under the bed.

The coffee table looks nice. I selected two great glass pieces for it.

After work I put the ladders back in the boiler cupboard, put a load of stuff in a wicker basket and tucked it into the cupboard, organised everything else and found my picnic blanket.

Gathered up more gardening items and tucked them into the lounge cupboard with my other bits, freeing up space from where it all came from.

I even did the washing up, sat down just as TomBo came home and he filled the coffee table up with junk after opening up the deliveries; I cleared it all.

Hopefully I'll get the last bits finished off tomorrow 😊

I decluttered and organised my desk during lunch.

Only have a few little bits by the TV to put away, light dusting and sweep the floor to finish the lounge.  Got to finish the bedroom, wipe down the shower room, wrap gifts, food shopping and drop the stuff to charity.

My new FD account is all set up. I've opened the 7% RS and deposited the first £300 from a savings pot.

I had veg and lentil soup for tea.

  • Well that's me mainly on holiday until the New Year, just have half a shift to do in-between 🤭

I took the two bags down to the charity shop and resisted looking at what they had. Picked up my extra meds and went to the bakery; I had a slice of pizza and cream chocolate doughnut.

Put a few more things away in the bedroom.

Had a few dozes this afternoon, TomBo burst out laughing seeing me snuggled on my chair.

Tomorrow will be a little busy. First thing I'll be at T doing the shopping, after that I need to finish the lounge, bedroom and shower room and wrap gifts.

  • Finished the lounge when I got up this morning, neighbour is away so it was fine sweeping the floor.

Went to T and my heart was in my mouth seeing the car park and the shop was just as bad, back in the car by 9.30am and heading home last shopping trip of the year 🤭

I picked up guinea fowl, pork chops, chicken bits, meat and cheese for crackers, the usual veg, crisps, biscuits, milk, pop, grape juice, ice creams, washing liquid, cleaning spray and a gift set for TomBo. It came in at £73.24, savings were £13.06, used shop and survey vouchers, only had to part with £15.18!
    - this is why I do like earning survey points.

TomBo is just getting the remaining shopping from the car, I came back up with the stuff that needed to go in the fridge and freezer. After unpacking was told to have a coffee and put my feet up; which is what I did 🤗

I'll have to wrap gifts in a bit and then I can have a doze / rest.

Yesterday I finished wrapping, did the shower room. Coloured and plaited my hair, coloured my brows and lashes, finally did my legs and had a shower.

Today I was up way before TomBo and chilled in the lounge, after he'd been up a while I put a very nice outfit on, let my hair down and applied a bit of perfume and we opened a few gifts; he is over the moon with the L3 Cr3us3t stuff and is currently cooking with some of them. This afternoon I'm back in my Christmas PJ's and slippers 😀
    - haven't decided what I'll attempt to wear tomorrow, but I know it's definitely not what I had on today, nor will I ever go dancing or clubbing in it 🤭

We're having roast guinea fowl, roast spuds and veg in a bit and still got a few gifts to open throughout the evening, in between films.

Merry Christmas everyone, I'm having my perfect and ideal day ❤️
