    Thanks Skinty and SH

I've not done the app prep as it's not going live yet.

I have been resting a lot over the last few days, with my feet up or dozing.

Yesterday I quickly tried a new hairstyle but want a tail comb to get it right, had a shower, removed my nail varnish, did my legs and brows.  Today I've applied body yoghurt. I'm applying face moisturiser and hand cream almost daily.  I've a couple of ideas for natural looking makeup to try, perhaps this week if I dye brows and lashes.

Where have the last few weekends gone!

I had my Dr apt last week. One med has been doubled, which set me back a bit and I'm not driving again at the moment. Was given some vitamins and had my bloods taken, which resulted in another prescription for more vitamins; these may help with the fatigue but so far there's no change.

I ordered a new bed the weekend as ours broke, when it arrives TomBo will alter the room round a bit. We also popped to Edin, got a cake day gift for cousins OH and need to get it all sent off.

I've been squirreling pennies away too, so savings have gone up a lot more than planned, although I will confess to buying some things from 3bay too 🙈 and have almost daily deliveries, but I'm getting bargains!

Not yet tried any more hairstyles or attempted applying makeup, hopefully this week. Want to dye my brows, lashes and hair too.

I've also replaced the battery in my scales so I can do weekly weight monitoring again.

Transferred money ready for the bills to come out.

Glad your GP is listening. Hope the new meds and vitamins help.

  • Thanks SH, she's doing her best, knows I'm hanging on and planning early retirement when I can just ditch all the meds.

I had a doze after work yesterday as I was wiped out and I know I've a few more months to go until the weather changes and I improve a little.

The bed arrived tonight, it took a few hours but old one dismantled and the new one is together, my body hurts like heck and I'm about to turn in for the evening.

TomBo is planning what I'm doing over the next few days 😳

Thanks Skinty, I'm super busy, when I'm not resting 🤭

    Love the new bed!

Today I went into town and had a walk round the park, Abbey and saw the remains of a palace, great photo opportunities and I'll be returning with my proper camera. TomBo told me I should be exploring on my days off.

I've purchased a tape measure as I can't find my original one. I'll be doing weekly measuring and weighing. Currently 12st 6lbs and back logging everything on MFP.

I popped to T for veg, wraps and dairy products, then filled up as it was £1.44.

Think I've walked about 5 miles, but didn't take any meds this morning due to driving and have been sitting with my feet up since returning 😳 my body is on fire, but it's my exercise for the month together with a bit of dancing in the car with good music!

MovingForwards I am afraid I have lost track on recent developments in your interesting life story. A while back you mentioned a possible inheritance and plans to but a bungalow or am I just confused?  :s. Are you able to update me please? How are your plans for early retirement progressing? I am continually impressed by your levels of organisation, commitment and forward planning.

Baron_Dale I'm saving money for the next purchase while overpaying the current mortgage, then I can potentially move independently and the inheritance (need to be paid off for my share) can either pay a chunk off the new mortgage, do a few changes to the property or go into savings and pension.

Early retirement is still on the cards, again I'm squirreling money away and building up the DB pension in my new job.

There's nothing too exciting going on with either at the moment and that's why it's not mentioned too frequently now. However, when there is a big change I'll be updating the 50+ thread as I find it's more for the proper 'average' person and I'll have a better idea of outgoings as everything is based on my current home.

I'm still aiming to keep outgoings below one SP, when mortgage free, as hobbies and interests are free or very cheap.

Sorry your body was on fire - but 5 miles sounds pretty impressive.
