  • Thanks SH and Skinty

Only got my spine to sort out and hopefully the pilates DVD will help. Aside from that I'm able to cope with the niggles and tiredness; yes tired rather than exhausted ☺️
    - I've already got my vits for when the Dr stops prescribing them.

It feels like the jigsaw is coming together and should be complete this year.

Haven't had a pamper as we put the bed together, tested it and I need to tuck everything under it that came from under our original bed. There should be a decent amount of floor space in the bedroom when that's done.
    - other bed is boxed up and in the lounge ready to get donated next week.

Spent £2 today buying DVD's, got another 10, and I dropped a bag of stuff off to them. I'll sort more stuff out this week to donate.

TomBo popped into T and got me more fruit, some Korean condiments/ sauce and a bit more veg. I've told him to start writing the shopping list throughout the week so I can pick everything up.

We had our V-day today as TomBo is grumpy on that weekday due to commuting. I've a nice bunch of roses.

Tea was chippy night, I had a burger, just an actual burger not in a bun etc and chips (kids meal), still couldn't eat it all and proves I've managed to shrink my stomach.

I'm having a bit more of my rose shl0er and we've just watched a film where we laughed nearly all the way through. I'll have fruit in a bit.

  • Didn't sleep last night and snuggled on my chair listening to cat snore.

I've knocked some of the GCH timer off as I'm hoping the warmer weather is approaching.

Had a gorgeous pair of open toe shoe / boot style arrive today, about 3in heel and I've strutted round the flat with ease. Also had a (faux?) leather purse / clutch bag arrive, the handle forms part of the purse where the clasp closes. Previously had a nice going out dress turn up. I'm currently waiting for a faux fur coat which should appear any day now. It's going to make a nice outfit for less than £15 😊

I'm also waiting on a red dress, another clutch bag, various jewellery items and perfume atomisers to decant into and be a purse friendly size, £22.

Still just have to practice hairstyles and makeup application and I'll be ready for when TomBo books the restaurant 😁

We had Korean stew and rice for tea, asked if he'll make it again!

  • Thanks SH, everything I'm buying is and it comes from income rather than savings.

The faux fur jacket arrived. It's immaculate, fits perfectly and I'm looking forward to date days.

Ordered another couple of things today and will have a good sort out of existing clothes etc to bag and donate, while disposing of other bits. I'll take them to my DVD charity shop

We're taking the bed and two chairs to the furniture charity shop we buy from the weekend.

Must have a play with hairstyles and make up this week!

  • Faux fur sounds very swish.
You are sounding very upbeat. Nice to read.

  • Thanks DIA, I'm having a great time and feel almost me!

The jacket is a d3b3nhams one, barely worn and looks great on.

Today a stretch cotton, almost like very soft velvet, military style jacket arrived. A plum type colour, again barely worn and looks fantastic. That will be my daily jacket and will go well with pretty much anything I wear.

My earrings and atomisers also arrived, as did my b.shop order. The atomisers have been filled, one with perfume and another with body spray; handbag size for a quick spritz when I'm out for hours.

Yesterday the red dress arrived and it fits like a glove; size 14 🤫
    - I've rejigged my watch list to remove bigger sizes 🤭

I'm getting away with spends due to having two paydays next month, the first is savings and fun, the second is bill money.

I've lost another 1lb, only 3 more to go and I'll be 12st. Once a month I'll get the measuring tape out as I'm tracking that too.

The butcher delivery arrived last night, just as we sat down to eat wraps. TomBo is roasting ribs tonight and I'll have fruit for snacks later. I am tracking calories with MFP and tend to plan what I'll be having for breakfast or lunch and snacks based on what TomBo is doing for tea, just to ensure I'm not going over my cals.

The plum jacket sounds a fab colour. Well done on the weight loss. I dream of getting to even 12.5 stone.

  • Thank you DIA and SH

You'll get there with the weightloss.

I wore the plum jacket yesterday, put my 'named' chunky boots on, with a black scarf tied to one side, jeans and a top, looked and felt great.

When we got back I went through my wardrobe and so far have a giant bag filled to go to the charity shop. I'll be sending about 3 coats and more footwear.
    - still doing one in / one out.

Had two dresses and a longer red version of the plum jacket but different maker arrive today. One dress I can get away with a chunky top under it, the other a thick t-shirt or long sleeve; both are a 14. I've ordered a 12 in the second one. The jacket / coat is an 18 and will be great during the cooler weather with a thicker cardi on.

Tried the first dress on properly, teamed it with stileto boot shoes and again I looked and felt good; TomBo loved it 🤭
    - he's told me to buy more stuff for me 😁, but it seems a bit daft going overboard until I know what size I'll be. I am keeping an eye out for a couple of things in smaller sizes, namely the jacket / coats as they're stunning, or I could get my existing ones altered as I've a seamstress over the road.

We're having a homemade tomato sauce on pasta for tea. I've got fruit for pudding and I'll have a tiny bit of TomBo's rowie for supper.
