Thanks SH and DIA
Had another dress arrive today, size 14 and I'm now looking for / buying size 12's. It seems impossible for my current size, admitting 3in have been lost and considering it's normal high st fashion shops the dresses were originally from. I've only 1 in left to lose from my calf's and can get back into my fave fancy boots!
When my weight / size stabilises I'll pick some of my absolute favourites of the 14's I've not been able to find a smaller size of and ask the seamstress to alter them, see if SIL can or try myself.
I have ordered a few pairs of nice shoes, some with a chunky stiletto for ease of walking but to gain the height, others with a block heal, a very nice silver bangle in a similar style to my engagement ring and a few thin crochet hats, great for summer.
I'm waiting to see if offers will be accepted on skirts and tops.
With everything I'm keeping from my original wardrobe, and my 'new' purchases, I'll have outfits for every occasion, can dress things up / down. Need to practice hair do's and natural makeup.
I'm still squirreling money away, even though I'm spending, and doing one in / one or more out.
Breakfast is coffee, snack is fruit, lunch is fruit or a sandwich, tea is whatever TomBo has cooked and snacks are fruit, nuts, occasionally a bit of chocolate or cake. Tracking everything in MFP is keeping me focused.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Thanks SH, I'm taking advantage of the extra pay date to treat myself.
Had a 14 dress arrive today and it was a perfect fit. I'm assuming I am a 14, for now, and will make a note of style, size and shop for when I'm buying.
I received a £5 voucher for buying DVD's from a bird pie shop, spent it on fruit this evening and only had to put 73p of my own money towards it. I've set up a 'fruit bowl' in the lounge 🤭
We're having bacon and egg rolls for tea. Hope TomBo starts cooking soon as I've been quite active and only had my breakfast coffee today; belly is going to rumble any second now!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Most of my new shoes arrived today, perfect fit and so easy to walk in even though they've got big heels.
I sorted out 5 coats to go to the charity shop, several tops, dresses, skirts and shoes, plus other bits and bobs. Filled a big bag and will drop it in tomorrow.
- I fitted into my two old size 14 coats and am keeping those as I really like them.
I was lucky to be the highest bidder on a bundle of 6 pairs of various trousers for £9.50 and I'm only waiting on a couple of things to bid on.
- I'll sort through my clothes and other bits next week to donate another bag full. TomBo will look through his things again too.
Tomorrow will be pretty low key. Collecting dry cleaning, drop off donations and back home for a pamper and movie. I've been volunteered to cook.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

Thank you Skinty, it's enjoyable replacing my wardrobe and getting some quite impressive clothes!
Lost another 1lb and I'm definitely gaining a waist for fitted clothes 😁
Had an early start and went to the dry cleaners, TomBo's kilt looks brand new.
After that went to T, stocked up on fruit, some veg, bacon, beer and other bits.
Dropped the huge bag to the charity shop. Had a good chat with the volunteers, purchased a DVD set, metal cat wine bottle holder, skirt and top.
- pre-warned them I'll have about the same again, but will leave it a few weeks to let them clear the backlog.
Purchased a few more things from 3bay; evening / event type long dresses as I donated my bigger ones 🤭
Did about 90 minutes of walking while out.
My confidence is growing on a daily basis and I'm becoming quite chatty while out too; I never noticed I'd shut down the last few years.
We had bacon rolls for tea, I've had a pear and banana, got an apple and satsumas to eat the rest of the evening while watching films.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
