Thank you Skinty, SW, Chrystal and SH
I'm heating the flat, but still wrapped up.
I had leftover curry for lunch, chocolate eclairs for late cake day treats.
Tried having a doze after work, cat started screaming and stropping settled and then TomBo had his break. Managed about 10 minutes of badly broken rest.
I'll try and have a pamper this weekend as my hair desperately needs colouring and I'd like to do my brows and lashes.
Got wrapping, tidying up, window cleaning and decorations on my to do list too.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

Haha SH
Yesterday didn't work out as planned, I snuggled on my chair and had the occasional broken doze. There was no energy in me to do anything; I'll put it down to a combination of weather, new meds, pain and I've pushed myself too hard.
The kettle finally gave up, the lid stopped opening not long after we moved here. TomBo replaced it when he did the shopping yesterday, he picked up a few more gifts and just has to sort e-vouchers out.
I'll be having another cake day as MIL and SIL gifts have yet to be received, somewhere in the delivery system and they'll arrive at some point.
I've got to get on with wrapping in a minute as we're visiting A&U today with their gifts and cousins gifts. Everyone else we're seeing Christmas, which buys me time to have another wrapping session.
The snow and ice has melted, therefore it's safe for me to go outside 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Managed to wrap gifts for four people and we dropped them round. Had a good catch up with A&U, both said they were pleased to see me and it's been too long. Was given homemade cake to take back with me 😊
Had a look round the garden centre, picked a gift for SIL furballs.
TomBo dismantled the chest of drawers and tallboy, they'll be taken to the tip tomorrow. He also cleaned the bedroom window. I've fixed the drawer on my wardrobe, sorted some smalls / naff make up and binned them, sorted a few more clothes for charity. Gone through some papers and set aside for confidential disposal, other bits went into the recycling bin. I've finally made use of two nice wicker boxes and filled them with the bedding.
Tomorrow we'll finish the bedroom, which will make it feel more spacious and organised. It will give me space to do art painting too.
I'll go through my nightwear and get rid of the old things. Also hang the other curtain inside the vestibule as I found hooks to clip them into the one already hanging. If I've the energy I'll sift through a cupboard and see what else can go.
We had chicken curry and rice for tea, I had cake for first pudding, TomBo had crisps and nuts, ice cream for second pudding. I'm sipping black grape juice topped with lemonade 😊

Glad you had time with your relatives. It's important for you.
Well done on the home organisation and decluttering - it will help you make best use of the space.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH, in-law relatives but felt so good to see them.
Two bags of things went to charity, tip run done and then TomBo took a walk to glass recycling a bag full to that.
I've emptied out the 1k3a cubes, moved them into a better position in the bedroom, organised the tops of them and started adding a few items so it's more like a display than crammed with random things.
Went through nightwear and footwear, some has got binned, a lot is in another bag for charity and the footwear I'm keeping will go on display (cubes).
I've cleared the rubbish and old paperwork from the table, just have to put random bits away.
The big lounge cupboard I've been through, binned some, charity bagged some and kept some. All the cat food is tucked away too. There's actually space in that cupboard for more stuff!
I've got four sets of lights up in the lounge and some decorations. I have done a bit of cleaning and had bacon's too 😊
Next to tackle is boiler cupboard, finish the table, finish the bedroom, sort my desk out as I've crammed stuff on that and wrap gifts. That can wait til my days off!
Just realised it's 7 days until Santa arrives 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Did some more decluttering throughout yesterday evening, every time I stood up I grabbed a few bits. Put a few more things away and added a bit more to the charity bag.
When I finished work I put more footwear in the display, put my nightwear into a box, more bits neatly put in the big lounge cupboard and stuffed more into the charity bag; that's full unless it's tiny things I can stuff into corners and I'll walk it down to the shop Thursday.
The bedroom is really taking shape now, just a few more items to tuck away. Using my other wicker baskets for storing the bedding was a great idea and the baskets have stayed in the same place I've had them since moving in.
Tomorrow I'm aiming to fill and stack the wicker baskets with whatever is in the boiler cupboard, finish the coffee table clearing, put nightwear box under the bed and organise my toiletries in the bathroom. I'll try and wrap a few gifts too.
Wednesday I'm aiming to organise my desk and do a bit of dusting.
I've a bag of stuff in the second bedroom, but I'll go through that over the holidays, do a final sweep of mom's papers NY holiday to clear that out. Move a few bits / organise them better and in theory the whole flat is done and I can focus on 2023 with a clean slate, pick up studying again and pace myself ready for June as I'll be doing this exam; decided January for resits and normal exams in June as I'll be able to pace myself a lot easier!
We had spicy chicken and chickpeas for tea, served with rice.
