    I'm ok SYA 🤗

Just did a bit of unpacking so everything for the kitchen is now in the kitchen.

Unzipped the bag with my work clothes in, looked at my clothes storage and zipped the bag back up 😂 will need to sort, downsize and then reorganise my clothes storage now everything is here.
-- I'm putting the charity things behind the door in my second bedroom as there's quite a few bags.

Looked in a few bags and walked backwards, it will all get finished this week.

Think I'm ready for my ice cream. It's wafers with strawberry, vanilla, chocolate ice cream, one half of the wafer / ice cream dipped in chocolate.

Edit to add - only 9 bags / boxes left!!
I did a bit more before ice cream and now it's another Bond film 😁

If you lived in my old place, you would have moved in when getting the keys! It did make me so ill, but I'm getting better slowly.

Had a 28 day cross over with the old / new flat due to notice period. OH was dealing with the old one, this garden and some things inside while working, it left me free to work, potter and unpack here.

I unpacked another bag yesterday (8 boxes / bags to go) and OH actually wrote a to do list for his tasks, think he will be busy today as he's already set up my greenhouse.

As two sacks have been found when unpacking, I will be growing a few spuds, plus my herbs, toms, peppers, sweet pea and sunflower. I'm guessing there will be other things like runner beans and anything else that climbs up canes added as time goes on.

When I finish for the day I will be outside planting and testing the fire pit.

Before work, during lunch and after work I've moved the herbs around according to their sun requirements and where the three different parts of the herb garden get sun. Tomorrow I will plant them.

After work I've planted my toms and peppers in grow bags, they are in the greenhouse. Need to decide where to put my sweet pea and sunflower.

OH has repurposed a big plastic tub as a temporary water butt. Poor thing then kept going to the flat with a bucket to get water to fill it 🙈

The felled trunks were taken away this morning. Just paid the guy for all of it.

My secret garden is in chaos again. Compost, logs, trunks OH wanted, twigs etc. I will try and organise it again this week, that way I can take a picnic rug out and sit in the sun.

I've moved the sofa again, it's now right under a window and my cat has been sunbathing.

In a lot of pain again today and thankfully I'm doing a short day tomorrow.  Also turns out I've booked more time off this week than I thought 🤗

Good as you can enjoy the sun in the garden and chill a bit too.

Keys have now been returned for the old flat, let's see how much deposit is returned.

Made it outside today and have planted most of the herbs and my two sunflowers. Got to do the thyme and sweet pea tomorrow, then I can put the mulch on and put the canes in. My body couldn't cope with it today due to the layout and all the logs etc restricting space, plus I'm pushing it too far.
-- I've added moving the stuff to OHs to do list!

Greenhouse is up, cover on and my goodness does it get hot, quick inside. Got loads of pots and multi-pot tray things from all the herbs, roses and plants. Been nominated to grow seedlings now 🙈
-- I guess that's what the &m&z0n voucher will pay for. (Edit to add - voucher has been used for seeds)

Everything has been watered, will have to pop out each morning before work to see if they are thirsty, then water again when it's a bit cooler.

I have been doing surveys most nights, sometimes I haven't qualified for them. That now stands at £93 to cash in to vouchers.
-- Still plan on getting bedding, crockery and cutlery.

Moved some money to EF and added a bit to S&S.

Nothing much planned for this evening aside from being at one with the sofa!

I’m glad you have rested a bit today and not pushed yourself too hard. No good if you’re bedridden after all this work & not able to enjoy your garden.

Well done on surveys. That’s a very good amount to get nice things for your new place 😊

HI MF - look after yourself too. Sounds like you are getting a lot done. Worth looking into a Gardener's world magazine - last month there was a special offer £9.99 for 6issues which I did - and you get free seeds with the mag

    Thank you ladies 🤗
I will have a think about the magazine. OH saw me smiling when pottering around, I've been trying to use that voucher for a while and he found a way for me to use it. There's radish, lettuce, carrots, spring onion, beetroot etc on the way.

    Financial Update:
I will do a monthly finance update when I do my payday transfers, if I kept listing each time I did 1p, 10p, £1, £5 etc my diary would be bigger than it already is and be even more confusing to follow; I think it works when I say I've transferred money to pots throughout the month 😊
Some have minimum / maximum deposit requirements and have kept some back to drop in at the start of next month.
-- The first three are my priorities, my EF already had a head start.
-- Decided to round up my mortgage O/P and I'm staying with this diary only 🤗🤗

    Communal - £170.64
    EF - £30
    Car Everything / Home Ins - £50
    Interior / Garden - £20
    Spares - £10
    Pension Cash 1  - £25
    S&S ISA Pension Cash 2 - £10
    Mortgage O/P - £13.74

My mortgage loan is over £66k, apr is over 5%, 5 year fixed rate with a sub-prime lender.
I'm hoping to be remortgaging within about 2 years and expect to pay about £2k ERCs.
Plan to pay it off within 10 years 🙈
I'm using my main bank as a guide for when I may be able to remortgage as they have 'no', 'medium' and 'high' probability in their financial products section and I saw how it worked with getting a CC from them; I'm currently sitting on 'medium chance' for a mortgage.
-- By 2022 all bar one of the bad history will have gone.
-- In 2024 the AP marker will go and I will have clean history.

The Spares account, I'm thinking about either making a lump-sum overpayment each year or to pay for my remortgage costs; need about £3k if I use it for remortgage costs.
-- I could near halve my monthly mortgage payment when I remortgage, if interest rates stay around what they are now.

    Have a good day!

All bar one of my seed orders were posted today, still got just over £2 of that voucher to use. Will be growing seedlings by next weekend and keeping some back for next year.

Planted the last of my herbs, put the bark mulch on and gave everything a good water.
-- Need to unpack my old farmhouse cookbook as that's got chutney recipes etc.

    OH has been busy today:
-- Made a shelf to put the WiFi router on.
-- Built a different fire pit.
-- Dug out a wedge of concrete.
    -- Chopped some logs.

My to do list for the next few days:
    -- Finish unpacking.
    -- Paint new shelf.
    -- Do washing.
    -- Plant sweet pea.
-- Put canes in tomatoes and peppers.
    -- Tidy secret garden.
    -- Lunch in the garden.
