    Thanks DIA and Skinty

I had a no sleep night Friday, as I overdid it and managed an hour when TomBo got up and then in the afternoon I went back to bed for another hours sleep. Somehow I have to spend less mental energy at work to ensure I've enough for studying.

I've managed to email myself all the tutor handouts and set access to the module on my phone; for some reason it had forgot my sign in details. I only did the first class yesterday and nothing from my book.

I'm not feeling too rested today, but will get stuck in to studying soon. I want to do week 2 of my class and supplement what the tutor shows in the recorded lessons with extra information from my book.

It feels like I've got ages until the exam, but I know decision to enter will soon come round.

I didn't want to be doing too much studying on a Sunday as Monday to Saturday work / study is a lot.

Don't think I said but in the week I prepared, tweaked and rewrote the wording for this job to add it to my CV, made it fit with my career roles and will try and the same with my last two jobs.

You are getting through loads. I think having a study free day / low study day and giving  yourself time tor rest and other things will help in the longer term.

Glad you took some time out,  I think you need to do a bit less studying if you can. It is possible to sit the exam a bit later so you are a bit more rested?

    Thanks SH

Slight change of tactics with studying as I've watched class one twice now! This is the third change, but seems more suitable. Tomorrow I'll be collating:
    - past paper questions of a similar nature into one document each.
    - past paper examiner feedback for each similar question into another document.

Reading through the relevant document I've collated, watching my relevant class and then reading my relevant book section to make revision notes. I'll then be learning the writing and answering style, together with the syllabus material.

This last week has felt like I've dived in, didn't know which direction I had to swim, why I was reading all this 'irrelevant material' and wondering when I'd get to the nitty gritty of the subject matter. Now it makes sense and once I've collated my documents can restart.

I've revisited my timetable as I planned too much studying and not fully taken onboard my health. I'm still looking at 2 hours weekdays, but reducing to 5 hours on a Saturday and at best an hour on Sundays just to read what I've done.

This gives me over 336 hours of study / learning before my exam, plus live classes when they start, which is double what's expected to complete and pass. I've wiggle room for guilt-free 'losing' hours if I'm not up to studies and takes the pressure off.

I have spent some time in the garden, picked veg, deadheaded roses and a bit of weeding. Aside from that, nothing else planned but rest.

    TomBo is doing the shopping.

    Thanks DIA

Didn't sleep well last night, had to get up for meds and managed an hour back in bed before cat decided to jump over catching her nails on me as she went by. Grabbed another hour when TomBo got up.

I was supposed to have training today, but the person forgot. I've totally lost all motivation, owed over half a day of TOIL, expected to do longer hours than my contract and clinging on that it's potentially over in two months.

Didn't sort the documents out for studying as I couldn't sit at my desk by the time I logged off. Instead I watched class 2 from the comfort of my armchair. Hopefully tomorrow I can pull my socks up.

It sounds like you pull your socks up every day just to work. Try not to be so hard on yourself and listen to your body and rest when you need to.

Thanks SH and good to see you MW

I'm trying to be nicer to myself, but so aware time will fly and I've only got 3 years to complete and pass 4 modules.

I managed to repeat my week 2 class and that was it. All I can do is keep watching the classes and attempt to catch up when I'm rested and have more energy. The classes are helping me figure out the best way of doing my revision notes.

I did seriously think about applying for the PT temp role today but didn't in the end. The money would have bugged the heck out of me, as would using the same systems I currently do, it wasn't the area I want to return to and other things, even though I would have had plenty of time to study.
