    Thanks SH

I've been doing a bit of reading into my qualification as it's changed a bit from when I originally started.

Apparently my previous module from years ago and the one I've just completed (assuming I get an official pass) make a qualification in their own right. The four modules I'll be doing are each also individual qualifications in their own right too. When all of them are passed I attain the overall qualification.

I've looked up how many hours I need to be ready for the exam and it works out to nearly an hour a day. I have planned 2 hours each weekday, 7 on a Saturday with a bit of light revision on a Sunday.

Although 22 weeks doesn't seem that long, I'll have the winter holiday, on the run up to the exam to do a lot each day. I can also take random days off.

Sounds like you have it all planned. Will be worth it in the end.

    Thanks SW and SH

No real time off planned, aside from Sunday's and from about 6pm the rest of the week.

I'll be finding time to update my CV and get applications on the go. I'd hoped to get this module out the way first, but my tolerance levels are very low.

I ripped into B1 a few times today as I've had enough. Ended up with so many apologies in return, but I doubt much has sunk in. I used 'buzz' words about my health and made it clear what I'm experiencing is unacceptable.  As usual, I didn't finish on time, barely took any meds as I've not even eaten and B1 doesn't want me to leave as I'll be great at the job.  TomBo was talking to his boss and found out several people left my department due to B1, so there's history and it confirmed what I suspected / seen for myself.

I've lost my evening of study, so I'll have to pick up a bit more each day to make up for it. Thank goodness I did complete the other module the weekend as I'm not physically up to a class today.

I've got my alternate therapy tomorrow, at least I'm WaH beforehand. Unfortunately, I'm back WaO Thursday and will push for WaH Friday.

We're having chips for tea. I need to put my feet up.

  • Hope your alternative therapy &. Wah helps today.
When working in the office I just take my breaks and leave when my day ends. Can’t you just take your breaks and lunch to eat and take your meds ? Surely they cannot stop you?

    Thanks SH and Skinty

Without turning this into a huge post B1 Huff's, puffs, sighs and other things if I stop working to shuffle on an inappropriate chair, say I'm going toilet, try to get feeling back in limbs, look in my bag as I've forgotten to pull something out when I first arrived and other things. It took me saying I've had enough and resigned for them to admit to treating me the same as everyone else as my health issues are unknown to them. The OH report said I'm disabled but only need a chair, nothing else, even though I've repeatedly said about my health since starting and anyone who actually looks at me can see I'm in a bad way. For some reason the OH report was taken as gospel, rather than the person sat in front of them.

I explained how my body reacts to a couple of things I'd asked how theirs does and the penny began to drop.

I asked if they thought it was acceptable working in the area we do for 7+ hours a day, got a reply and then said look at it through my eyes and with my health, do you think it's acceptable to have me working like this knowing it's causing pain levels to increase.  I threw it in their face about knowing delays with PS due to a previous role but have had stuff arrive in a couple of days, also knowing people in other depts here who have disabled staff and they've been treated / supported a lot better than I have been.  After a load of BS from them, including the whole C19 spiel, I don't have to lug all my gear in and have been allocated a proper workspace.

I'm not leaving, subject to further adjustments being put in place which I'll be taking up with B2 to sort out, but will be actively looking for a new role. Quite frankly everything will keep slipping and I'll just have to keep going through this, which is beyond a joke. What little I have of my health is too precious to lose due to an inconsiderate, clueless manager and I say that on the back of seeing how quickly my health declined and the further restrictions I now have in my personal life in just a few weeks.

    Thank you SH

TomBo said to just think of the money as it will fund some of my studies. Payday in the morning.

    Had a shower lunchtime.

Attended my treatment this evening, found it mentally beneficial to have an hour just for me. I've been invited to have more sessions as it's training for my new friend until they qualify.

I've pinned my college timetable, order the classes run in, to my desk, so I can tick each  them off when I've done them.

What I need to do is save the college handouts as a draft email so I can read through those and then move onto my book to read a fuller version and write my revision notes.
    - printing the past papers / answers will be a better use of my ink and paper until I can wangle printing elsewhere.

I did nearly 2 hours of my first book. Got through chapter 1 which was the overview and history of how things came about, I wrote notes as practice with condensing information.
    - From now on its proper studying and there's 16 chapters to learn and if I can get through one a week, it will leave me with 6 weeks solid revisit the end.

I'll need to factor in reading my other book, if only to get familiar with it. I'm allowed to take this one in to the exam. Might take it into work as it's a positive thing to focus on.

We had spaghetti and tomato sauce for tea, I've got my feet up watching TV.
