Thanks SH and Skinty
I'm enjoying my new chair, lots less pressure on my hips and back.
I got upset and frustrated with my studies, ended up starting it over and got S1 done. I'm not 100% happy with it, but it's the best I can do. I'm making a start on S2 tomorrow and have some information towards another section from my wrong one. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, it's a strange way of doing things, isn't done this way in real life and I've not touched the area it's based around in 20 years.
I need to set my desk up a bit more as it's still not right, unless it's because of how my pain is. It's probably also not helping me to stay focused with studying, unless it's because this part is stressing me out a lot too.
- I'll set the laptop up on a tray tomorrow and see if that's a bit easier for me.
- TomBo is going to try and set the second screen up as I desperately need it for this part, flicking between packages.
TomBo had pizza, I had chips and salad; new chair has definitely passed the comfort rating while eating and the sofa passed TomBo's post eat doze test 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thanks SH, I've sat on the chair all evening, in the recline position. Found it quite relaxing to sit down for ages without having to get up to unstiffen / ease pain.
What I've noticed is the chair is almost perfect for my height when in the normal position. If I was half an inch taller it would be perfect to put my feet flat on the floor. It's also narrower than regular chairs are. The depth is spot on with bum at the back and knees bent over the edge. All of this is probably why I have got on with it.
I usually look like a kid on adult furniture, my knees are halfway on the seat part or my lower legs are dangling if I move forward 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I've put a washing load on and updated my finance spreadsheets due to mid-month interest being applied.
Got an "extreme high temperatures" orange warning on my laptop, next to sunshine and 15° ; looking out the window, the sky is white, perhaps we'll have snow 🤨
Grabbed a pillow and stuck that at the back of my desk chair and will see how I get on; again it's 'depth' I have issues with in relation to the seating. Feels better so far.
Made an executive decision to move on to S2 as I've spent more than enough time on S1. S1 will give me lots of information and provide a better grounding/ understanding of how to do this task.
- got to stop getting in my own head with this task!
Hopefully TomBo will set up my other screen today as it will make this task easier to deal with. I'm working off one system for information, with several tabs off that, to collate it into my task. As I've worked off two screens for years it's slowing me down minimising/ maximising pages as I flick through everything to find what I need, go back to my work to input results and forget how I was going to write it, just to loop back and get stuck in a circle. At least with two screens I've the info up on one as I do the other. It's not viable to print as I'd waste so much paper / ink just for two or three words.
TomBo will be taking a trip to the tip this weekend, get rid of the old sofa. We are keeping the old arm chair.

Hope you can get the 2 screens sorted & your chair is more comfortable. I only have short legs so my feet don’t touch the ground when I sit on many sofas either.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Skinty waves to a compact and beju fellowette 😊
Still working off one screen, I'll ask him to sort it out tomorrow.
Managed to get half of S2 done, but I've got to figure out how to splinter the information. I'm not sure if I have to carry on doing the first bit until all that's collated and then do the new bit.
- I'm going to leave a sufficient gap, check during class and then I can move it if it's in the wrong place.
What I did was work one aspect, go for a potter to another room and back, or quickly look online at other things to let my brain reset and take in what I'd just done, then dive back in and do another aspect.
- not sure if it's working like this making it easier, having an understanding of this particular section or both.
I've put myself under a lot of pressure to get this module done before I start working again. I think I'll reduce stress if I can focus on getting S2 drafted and pick amendments off the first week of work.
- I'll look to see if there's a way of getting the document on to my phone or tablet, then I could input the info on my lunch break and format it properly back home.
I've gone through most of my old office gear, nearly everything is going to charity; keeping all my blouses as it's easier to hide when they're a bit big.
- I'll go through my jeans and stuff next.
TomBo has been to the tip, watered the garden and did some work in a neighbours garden.
Tomorrow we are harvesting some spuds when I'm on a break 😃 it's a bank holiday on Monday, so I'll have a few hours off and go out with TomBo.
Had chips and salad for tea, got my feet up watching TV; s3 of the w1r3.

Thanks SH, it was 😃
Had a 'day off' yesterday, but felt guilty for it. I tried to have some sleep throughout the day, but the guilt didn't let me and then I felt guilty for not doing more of my module ☹️
I did potter about the garden. It was overcast, muggy and I didn't have enough to drink before going outside. We did harvest some potatoes, proper 'new' ones and boilers. Had a large iced coffee when I came back in, cooled me down on the inside; I had to put a fleece jacket on 🤫
I've told TomBo this module is intense and all computer based, the rest are slower paced. I'll be printing a lot, mainly reading while on my chair, with some mock tests and typing notes to learn.
My mate did question my logic of finishing my qualification, then doing the one up here, instead of just doing the Scots one. I think she understood when I explained. I also look at it through recruitment eyes, doing that sift of CVs and having a broad range qualification, instead of a restrictive, sets me apart from 'locals'.
Cat got me up at 4am today. I start the new job in a week and definitely am not rested enough, nor is my health where I want it to be; as expected due to cramming studying in.
We've been invited to SIL's today, but I may bow out as having the flat to myself will give me uninterrupted time to knuckle down, get more of S2 done and submitted to my tutor for guidance. I've also got class tonight.
