So pleased that that worry has been lifted, plus Toxic job is breathing it's last breath and you will be able to look forward with clear eyes. One step at a time, and don't borrow trouble. You're going to be fine(((hugs)))XXI Believe.....

Thank you SH and Chrystal it's definitely a weight off my shoulders.
My course starts the 11th and finishes 7 weeks later and there's 3 hours of tutorials a week. I'm planning on breaking the bulk of it by the end of next month, using the remaining few weeks of August to tweak my submission, if needed. Getting this one out the way means it's not hanging over me.
When I do get a start date for my new job, I'll know what salary I'm on and can work out how to save up for my remaining modules, exam and registration fees for 2 years.
Better go, at least it's Friday 😊

Thank you SH and Skinty
Everything I do is with one eye on my CV and the other on using it to my advantage.
Here's an interesting fact - 20 years ago I changed roles to PT just so I could do my other level FT. Seems quite apt to be looking at my employment position and working that around the remaining modules for my final level.
The current plan is do this summer module and do the next one while during the 6m FTC. Take a year out to do the remaining three modules.
My back up plan, should the FTC get extended, is to do two modules next year, with the remaining one the following year.
I am a lot more happy and positive as I'm doing what I want. I should have done it a few years ago, but I know the time wasn't right, my flame was simmering and hadn't burst into a full fire. Oddly enough it's taken my current role to do that, due to them doing things so wrong 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

You're right SH, I'm in a much better financial position than before and I've a supportive partner, which makes a huge difference. TomBo has just handed me something which has saved me buying one at about £50!
I've done first rough budget for the next 18 months.
Expenses required £1000pm. That's allowing car and insurance savings, a bit of general savings, bills, petrol and food; some of the food can be covered by using survey points.
To finish my studies I need £3252 for courses, exams and registration costs. I already have £366 for my first module and exam cost, my registration fee is paid for this year. This leaves me £2886 to find. All based on current prices, exam and registration fees always increase a couple of quid each year, course fees haven't really changed in years with external providers.
When I start the LA role, I can save £300pm and squirrel away some of the money from TomBo to fund the remaining modules.
I currently have instant access to 7 months money, I can temp at the start of each module to supplement savings or work PT as I'll be about £2k short to do a whole year unpaid, even with TomBo's money. Working FT 2 weeks per month or PT each week would cover nearly all the expenses, while still allowing me 200 hours per month to study.
If I can get probate done over the same timeframe, the refund from estate will mean I'm about £500 short.
I would also have time to get my P1P application in before anyone says it!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Spent a few hours in the garden, weeding, planting more spuds, sowing more seeds and harvesting garlic. Oh the fun I had trying to tie that together, but I've now got it all hanging in the pantry.
TomBo split one growing section into two, which gives me the illusion of more space; in reality it will be easier to grow and maintain.
I explained I'm attempting to eat vegan / gf for stomach and overall health reasons, but I don't expect him to do so. TomBo agreed it was a good plan as he's seen the difference for himself. Just need to eat more fresh herbs in my food.

I'm taking a trip over the water next weekend and meeting up with my mates, haven't seen them in about 2.5 years, and we're doing the pr1d3 parade; I need to look at the map and see how far it goes.
- I'm budgeting £30 for food, drinks and travel in, TomBo is getting me back home again.
I ordered a rainbow top and small colourful bag as I won't need to take much with me. Ordered a cake day gift for one of them. Spent £23.50.
Again, looking to the future, it will be a good test to see how I get on with the journey and walk to the meeting point, in readiness for when I'm back in the city.
It's too warm to sleep and there was only a couple of hours of night before it got light again. Bird are happily singing away.
Three more days before I'm a lady of leisure, then student, then back working 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Im glad you have managed to sort a better way of eating and it’s helping your stomach. Are you using an alternative protein source in your spag bol? Are you finding it cheaper without meat? I’m trying to have at least one meat free meal a week as a start to reduce the grocery bill
