It’s so rare to get a GP appointment let alone one who looks at your overall health. I have had to ask about my calcium/ vit D and parathyroid and they now want a blood test for parathyroid! Hope you can get another appointment

Hope you have a relaxing day

Thanks Skinty, there's one specific Dr at the practice and I'm hoping if I can get an apt with him, take my pain diary, things may finally be looked at as a whole.

Filled my car £1.82.9, thank goodness it's only one more tank I need before my use become more normal!

Went to T. Picked up a load of veg for the week, gf bread, lentil crisps and veggie haggis, tinned toms, fenugreek, oat milk, vegan cheese and yoghurt, cat food and other bits. Cost just under £47 however I used my Xmas vouchers and £15 cash 😃
    - the veggie and vegan range has improved a lot since I've moved up here.

Called into a garden shop on the way back and got some 'hoops', used a voucher so 'free'.

Been in the garden for a few hours, weeding and general admiration of how it's coming along. TomBo set the hoops up and I helped fix the net in place; my spinach and kale are safe again. I get to try homegrown strawbs later 😋

I've looked up how to make oat milk and that's my task next weekend. It will work out to about 20p a litre once I've mastered it.

Feet up and time to look through my spicy cookbook.

    Good luck with the GP

You save so much money if you can make your own plant milks. I can't wait until I can make almond milk again. It is easy, cheaper, quick and there are no added nasties. I hope you enjoy yours  :)

    Thanks SH and DIA

Homemade almond milk flavour wasn't great, but I'm hoping oat works as it's creamy from the shop and my fave. The 'used' oats could go in a cake or biscuit mix.

I've picked out several recipes and have lunch ideas floating round my head.

I'm looking forward to having free time for a bit, hopefully I'll have some nice weather too. For just over £25 I could buy a month's swimming pass, which I think would be worth the money to undo some of the damage from this role.

We had two bean, veg and TVP chilli with rice for tea, yummy 😋

A swimming pass sounds like an excellent plan.

Swim pass sounds good value. Is that unlimited swimming any time ? Once I have moved I will live near a leisure centre and I am going to ask my gp / physio for a referral. For £7 you then get an induction then 12 weeks classes / swim etc. Does your area / GP do anything similar?

    Thanks SH and Skinty

It's unlimited and any LA pool in my county, discounted to under £161pa when I start my new job; I pass a pool on my office commute, a different one when doing client visits and possibly my normal one on the way back from that area 🤭

I already have a lot for free with with meds etc and would leave that for someone else who needs it more than me, if they do it here.

I've again suggested about temping until I get a start date, but T's still saying enjoy the time off. I know he's right as I'm wiped out, which isn't surprising as I've been on the go for years.

Hopefully I'll get a course start date soon too and want to get it done quickly.  It's horrible and no one likes that module.

We had cauli and bean curry for tea, I went back for seconds 😋

    Thanks SH

I'm selling it to myself as a long overdue sabbatical, while waiting for the unconditional offer, starting a module and doing CPD. Not helped by suppressing the stress of everything I've been through and ploughing on.

I now understand how much pressure a referral puts people under; again it adds another layer of knowledge and I seem to always find a way of turning things into a life experience, using it to develop in work. If it wasn't for this I would be applying for career roles.

Better get ready only a week of toxicity to go.
