We have Skinty, my feet are beginning to get sun burn due to wearing ballerina pumps. Enjoy the BBQ.

MOT and repairs booked in on my first day of freedom. I'll be making good use of my time in that area as there's a healthy food shop and my usual pool 😃

Had a farce with my meds, which resulted in an assertive call with the Dr. Explained about some of my health issues, lack of proper sleep in years, why I've had to stop taking two meds (vomiting in my sleep), said how injuries don't heal or take years, suggested they prescribe something else that will work if they're not happy with what I've been on as I'm long overdue a med review, otherwise I'll be in and they can see what I'm like without them after a few days. I even said not to bother with T as it did nothing when I was on it before.

Agreement to prescribe my usual med and something to help me zzzz, they'll look at my other pain if these fix my zzzz and are providing me with self-help sites as I slated C8T and the farce of expecting me to take 3 months off work when I do hold down a FT role, have an adapted life and do a lot of research into my issues.

It's a shame the Dr I spoke with isn't the one who has an interest in RA and osteo etc as I'm sure I would have had an even better outcome. I'll sort an apt later this month; it gives me time to write down the various pains, how they feel and the impact on day to day things. It'll also help my P1P application when I do go for that.

Sorry that's a bit ranty, I go through this every few months and it annoys me.

RF delivery is tomorrow and I ordered a vegan Indian cook book from 3bay, £2.24 and it should arrive by the end of the week. Money taken from food budget.

We had pasta with a tomato and herb sauce for tea, I had puffed rice cakes for pudding.

I'm trying to add mackerel to my diet again as part of managing cholesterol. I also like that I don't have to cook it and can just add it to salad.

The music sounds like it was good.

That's SH, it was and I'm pleased that part of the paragraph made sense even though I missed a few words out, ooops. Latino style always gets my foot tapping and I find it hard to resist dancing.

It's worth keeping an eye out for cooked fish as I think there's a few different types. I've never been that keen on it; smell or texture.

Keep spotting errors in my posts after they've gone up, drives me batty.

Lost 2lb in a month, not loads at ¹/2lb per week, but slow and steady wins the race. It should be consistent now I've cut a load of diary and swapped to a gf / vegi lifestyle.

I've got £79 to cover me for the rest of this month, only need veg, gf bread and petrol. I'll stop buying the gf bread when I'm between jobs and won't use much fuel at that point either.

Beautiful sunny day and I'll be in the garden when I get home.

Well done on the weight loss. Slow and steady and not 'being on a diet' has always been the way my weight has gone down.

Not yet SH, when I hear something I'll post up 😃

Thank you DIA, I totally agree. Being on a diet doesn't teach new ways, just restricts existing habits and that's why they're hard to stay on.

I've squashed my hand between desk and chair, fingers and hand is swollen, palm hurts and the pain runs up my arm when I carefully wiggle my fingers to loosen them. I did manage to water the outdoor pots when I got home, with my good side.

RF delivery came, I'll be unpacking it later and TomBo will put it away. Just need my cookbook to arrive.

We had a spicy bean and veg soup-stew for tea.

Ouch to hand injury that sounds unpleasant.

    Hope your cookbook arrives soon.

Thanks SH, I wanted burst out crying when I did it, to turn it into a positive I'll start my pain diary.

The book should arrive by Thursday, I've purchased it from my go to used book shop and they're pretty efficient.

I've unpacked and put away the RF delivery, just planning what to bake and cook 😃

I did collect my meds on the way home, but will leave trying the zzzz until Friday just in case I oversleep or have side effects.
