Thank you SH and DIA
I'm gaining confidence with every passing minute and about 80% of what I was. Another couple of weeks will see massive changes in me.
While I may not get offered J2, it's definitely a company I'll get into at some point, even if it takes a couple of years elsewhere.
We went to T, four bags of various tins, fresh, GF, cat food, snack, lunch items and some cleaning items etc, cost TomBo £56 as he kept loading things into the trolley.
Filled the car, cost me £46.99 (£163.9).
My tasks for the rest of this week:
- update Lk-in
- update my CV
- draft a cover letter
- apply for jobs
- do CPD
- read my books
We had soup for tea and I've been relaxing ☺️Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Fuel is extortionate at the moment.

I'm pleased to have a small car SH!
The relax did me good, helped to consolidate my thoughts and where life is going.
I've drafted my covering letter, left a space for information relating to what the company is looking for.
Today's food is milk, strawberries, yoghurt, toast, milkshake and lentil crisps. Not sure what TomBo is making for tea. The sun is already baking hot.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I've been offered J1, the full-time, 6m FTC post. I'm currently putting the feelers out with J2.
Either way, I'm free of the toxic environment!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
I've secured an interview with J3, again it's a career company but a stepping stone one. Booked the day off for it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3

Thank you SH 😃
I've backtracked over my diary and it's under a month from starting to apply for roles; 12 days from application to offer isn't bad going with an LA.There are a lot of positives with J1. I'll gain refreshed and enhanced skills to grow and potentially climb the ladder or aid returning to my career 😊
- I do like having options!
I'm waiting on the contract, assume I'll be starting on the lowest scale for my band which is the 3rd highest salary in my life so far; funny how I've got paid more up here than I ever did in my previous life. The office is closer and I'll only be doing 200 miles per week when I'm in, with a mix of WAH and occasional visits to C's where I'll get mileage, all of which saves on petrol, wear and tear.
I'm looking forward to putting my resignation in, it's long overdue and I can't take much more. So wanted to put it in today, but the longer I hang on the more holiday pay I gain, together with wages 😉
I will get my car in for a service and repairs before starting the new role.
I'll still be proceeding with my qualifications as I will have the spare salary to fund them. I will be studying weekends, weekday lunchtimes and before work; I will have to get in a bit earlier to grab a parking space.
Had risotto for tea and gf madeleine's for pudding.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

So do I SH 😃
The office is also a lot closer to the areas I want to move to, which was one of the reasons for seeing what roles the LA had 😃
Having to deliver TomBo to work as there's an IT glitch, then carry on to my place. It's kind of on the way, but more gear changes / braking than I would want.
Just discussing when to put my notice in and toying with end of this month, so I've a full wage and holiday pay to get me through July and possibly all of August; I'd expect to be in post by the end of July. It would also allow me to shake off the negativity of the current place and I could sort my head out a bit better too.
Anyhow, it's Friday and the sun is shining 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4
