Thanks Skinty, the way things are I'll take the first one out of the two who offer me a start date. Wish I had a throwaway interview this week, just to get in practice for the ones I want!

I'm already pulling my hair out this morning and don't want to be here, so toxic.

Whenever the panic over the interviews and whether I'll learn enough in time starts to take over, I re-read SH's reply about beating off the competition and it relaxes me. They've also helped me cope with the chaotic environment, as there's been a huge amount of faith in me over my years here. Thank you for those words!

It's been non-stop all day and I'm wiped out.

TomBo will hopefully be WAH from next week. I think it will suit him a lot more as he doesn't have to use mental energy being round people and can just get on with his work; he'll have the break / lunch chats via t3ams.

Put my laptop on 12 month plan with the CC, as usual I'll pay it off quickly.

Watered the toms and chillies; have to pot up the latter the weekend.

I've got my feet up and were having chicken in a bit.

£100 in the bank, £2 is bank fee, £4.50 is posted snack treats.

Made it to the weekend, alarm is switched off!

Had an email chat with the agency, she believes I can be on market rate for the role, even though I've been out the game for a while, due to how many years experience I have. Another company via the same agency are still very interested, but theres been recruiter absences which has set them back with the process.

I've started working out questions to ask about both roles and done most of the research for J2, I'll do most of J1 research tomorrow and it will leave Sunday for any straggling parts.

I collected TomBo and his equipment, that's him set up WAH with occasional office visits.

It will be a busy weekend with doing all my pampering, research, interview prep, setting up the laptop / chair for the VC's, reading to refresh myself on processes (J2) and scanning info to get more familiar with everything (J1), while finding time to have a little potter in the garden if the weather is ok.

We had chippy night, didn't enjoy mine but filled my belly.

Your weekend is a good mix of work and pleasure. Enjoy the garden and pampering.
Looking forward to hear how you do with the interviews on the horizon  :)

    Thank you DIA
I've dug my books out, marked up the pages I need to read. I thought I had a book on the particular process, but unfortunately not; I've managed to find a few webpages which will have to do.

Got up, waddled through to the lounge and noticed the time 6am 🙈 groaned and was told to go back to bed but I had been wide awake from when TomBo got up a few hours earlier!

I've done J2 research, very happy with my knowledge, just have to wade through about 100 pages over 2 books.

I am very interested in J2, but know my previous credit history could be a showstopper; it's seen me declined at application stage before but as I no longer have the CCJ 🤞
    - even the qualification I'm looking to take only asks if there's any current issues, or ever been bnkrpt / had 1va, unlike my previous regulator who asks if ever had bnkrpty / 1va / CCJ; which is why I've not yet reinstated my old one as I can't face having to explain everything and worry I'd get fined / have restrictions imposed.

I'm sat with my hair dye on. Pushed the boat out and used a whole box; first impressions and all that. My coffee is settling and I'll dye my brows / lashes after posting this.

To manage my time I'm working in hourly blocks, I start something on the hour and keep going til it's done. It means I could have 5 - 55 minutes break between the next task. I even resisted going into the garden when TomBo went.

My to do list for today:
    - eyebrows and lashes, with plucking
    - legs etc
    - reading both books; info earmarked
    - read webpages I've got open
    - try on suit
    - research J1
    - gain more understanding of J1 and gain an overview
    - eat
    - have another vanilla coffee
    - pot up chilli plants

Sat here with my brow dye on, yes as always I've stopped writing mid-way through 🙈

I've a lot of faith and confidence in myself, I've got these in the bag and both companies would be very lucky to have me 😉

Brows, lashes, hair, shower, coffee done.

I also dealt with the elephant in the room as it's been nagging me for years, my previous membership. I've applied to be reinstated, paid the reinstatement fee and prepared / submitted my statement. It's a huge risk as any restrictions / disciplinaries would have to be declared when I apply for membership up here; both memberships would be a bonus for J1 and J2. Hopefully, as I wasn't in that work when it happened, everything will go through fine. It's now in the hands of my potential regulator, I'm thinking positively and deciding which account to pull my membership fee from.

Next on my list is J1 research and reading.

Glad you got your pampering done. It will help you feel good for the interviews. You sound confident and ready :)

Every time I made a start on J1 research, TomBo talked to me and showed me different things, even when he heard the videos provided as part of helping me do well next week. It wound me up and I stopped. Means I've double the amount to get through tomorrow.

I had to turn the flat upside down looking for right to work documents, eventually found what I needed.

I grabbed loads of old papers to shred, which was painful to do on the floor; shredder packed up but I've had it a few decades. I also tidied away the stuff from my mom's; that's no longer nagging me to deal with it.

Sibling is constantly moaning about everything, which isn't helping my stress levels at the moment.

    Tomorrow I have to:
    - pluck brows
    - do legs
    - sort suit and shoes
    - research J1
    - read books and webpages for J2
    - set up area for VC's and do trial run
    - paint nails

TomBo will be doing a tip run, so I'll have some peace!

We had pasta with a creamed garlic nut sauce, it wasn't my thing but the uncooked creamed nuts would make a lovely hummus style dip!

I've my feet up and were on the second film of the evening.

Thinking about you and keeping everything crossed for your reinstatement... you deserve good things to come your way.  XXX
