Thanks Skinty, I'm in good spirits, enjoying doing nothing but faffing about and giving my body / brain a rest.

I don't want to jinx it, but I've had a ginger biscuit and not moved from the sofa since!

An agency has put me forward for another job, no news on the other one she submitted. Offered me a chance with the first company I worked in up here and I said no way would I go back.

I'm not 'right' enough to do the intense LA application, even if it's copy, paste and tweak. I want to get it perfect.

My new current account is up and running. I've sent over some petrol money, but until my PIN arrives I can't send it all over.

I've applied for the 3.3% RS account, when that's fully open later / tomorrow I can send a bit of money over and the interest from my maxed out one 😃

My B-Shop order has finally been packaged up, hopefully that will arrive in a few days.

And the sun is starting to come out, it's rained so I don't need to worry about watering the garden.

    Think I should pick a film 😊

Hope you are feeling better today MF. What film did you watch?

Thanks Skinty, unfortunately I'm not, I'm at the dehydrated / dizzy / throbbing head stage, while still being at one with the shower room and minimal sleep.

I'm trying not to think of how much money I'm losing due to being off and have been chipping away at surveys to bridge the gap when I can.

Armageddon was my film of choice yesterday, I'll watch the fly (remake) later.

It's voting day and I'll need help to get to the poll station, it's only a few minutes walk but I'm too unsteady.  MIL is down, but my attendance has already been excused. TomBo has taken the car again and apparently he is WaH from next week; lucky sod!

PIN has arrived and a voucher for extra points when I buy cats favourite food.

I'm drinking water, flopped on the sofa and need to wrap up a bit. Also must find something to eat, even though I don't feel like it.

Sorry to hear that it’s not just a 24 hour bug. Bet you are exhausted and feel washed out.  Hope you don’t have to rush back to work until you are fully recovered.

Thanks Skinty, I've let it run its course and am on the road to recovery, didn't get up in the night! There is pressure to return, but they can wait. I told TomBo how much income I'll loose and he said it doesn't matter, he'll be happier when I leave.

Somehow made it to vote, couldn't resist picking someone with the name from an old comedy, which gave me a giggle. I also made it up to the shop, got some fruit and a nice GF loaf.

It's making me re-evaluate work and FT, maybe I should listen to my body. I will be getting the LA application in, even if I have to get TomBo to do it later.

Having another film day with my feet up. If it brightens up I may go into the garden for a bit.

Thanks SH, plenty of thinking time, just have to work a few things out.

I've made £5 in survey points today, £14.75 so far this month. While a lot less than I've lost by not going in, it definitely can supplement my income and pay for a few things.

Watched a few films and had GF toast for late breakfast, banana and yoghurt for lunch.

I've had a potter in the garden, took a load of marigold seedlings up, I'll transplant others. Loads of strawberry flowers. The gooseberries and cherry's are forming, flowers on the raspberries and my greens are popping up. Onions and garlic are settled and growing.

There's loads of spud plants in the borrowed garden, more onions growing and I've space for other things too.

Sun is streaming into the lounge and my B-Shop order arrived.

This weekend I'll be resting, pottering in the garden and getting the LA application in.

    Thanks DIA

It's lightly raining this morning, but warm.

My tummy seems almost back to normal. It's half the size it was pre-bug and I'm 13st 4lbs, time to take more care of myself and slowly lose a bit each month.

The GF bread I got the other day was 12 small slices, a german seed sourdough bread, had a real bread texture and was delicious. Most feel 'stale' when picking them up. It's the same price as the real bread I've been buying in the week, but without causing me any problems.

I'll do doing the LA application in a bit and seeing if they've any other roles of interest. I also need to have a look at the LA's in two other counties, see what they have.

Having money is nice, job satisfaction is priceless to me.

At some point we'll be doing the shopping, filling the car and I'll do a few more survey's; made £8.25 yesterday.

My PC packed up and I had a quick look for a replacement.

Went to THAT computer shop. TomBo convinced me to increase my budget and go for one which would do me for several years, where I could WAH off it if needed. Picked one, got the hard upsell and knocked it all back at them, then got told they only have the pre-set-up ones which cost more 🤔 went to Argoos and they didn't have it in stock. Went online to THAT computer shop to collect from another store, got to it and my order was cancelled. Went to Argoos and walked out with a better one for the same price and got Nctr points for TomBo to spend 😄

Yes, annoying as I could have done without going to 4 shops or buying one, but the laptop is great; huge screen, high def, great sound and a full-size keyboard. It will be good for WAH, studying, researching and everything else I want it to do.

I'll have to do a lot of surveys to pay for food shopping (currently stand at £89.80 for T vouchers), to free up cash to clear the CC.
    - I should have applied for the 0% a few weeks ago, hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I'll have the CC paid off by the end of June.

I've been doing the LA application for hours and I'm only halfway through. I'll be saving everything to C&P into any others I do.

Just had chicken and chips, watching a film as I think what else to put in, then I can tweak and submit the application.
