We're all home. I did all the driving.

Cat is hiding under the bed and missed out on sausage, mash and onion gravy.

I've cried a lot, even now the tears are falling, as I'm now able to mourn the loss of my dad; I've held that in for over 30 years. Plus I'm also grieving for mom. I was told so much about both of them 😊

My feet are up, watching TV and I've a full belly. I can now think about Christmas.

Glad you are home safe. A long journey I'm sure. Hope you get to relax now. Are you now off until after Xmas?

Distance driving is in my genes 😊

I'm back in work for 1.5 days and then I break up for nearly 2 weeks. Just have to wrap TomBo's presents and grab t-bone from the butcher's, Christmas is a low-key time this year.

Haven't spent much while away, but I'm not in the mood to mess with numbers at the moment.

Work nearly over for the year...

I've finished. So grateful. I owe a little time but can sort that in the new year...

  • I'm due a much needed and long overdue rest!

I have gone in today, but believe me I was crying all the way and wanted to turn back so many times, even when I parked up I was going to reverse back out and go home. But then what would I do?

Instead, I've had some chats and got stuck in catching up on work.

One day left and then it's holiday time 😉

  • I want to get an address book and write all my contacts / family down. I don't like the idea of TomBo having to scramble round to find people if anything happens to me.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy one. Work, meal, brows threaded, jewellery hunt, booster, wrap gifts and write card. I might try and find the Christmas lights.

I've found a few items of jewellery for sale, but also want to see what's around locally, have to pick my absolute favourite and get a photo printed to fit inside. It's bringing me comfort, although upsetting at the moment. I feel unable to settle until I've done it.

I sent my sibling a larger than normal gift, to help them over the next few weeks. Sent from the unused 'holiday' money, but still leaves me with a small float.

Only £150 left to sort out for the mortgage O/P, however I'm waiting a few more days until I get paid, just to be on the safe side.

Got a tank full of petrol, which will be more than enough until I'm back in.

We had chicken coconut curry and rice for tea, chocolate for pudding.
