  • Thanks SW I also feel we are all friends as we do natter and are always there through good and bad times ❤️

I just wasn't sure how to word it hence saying about real life, which meant the ones I physically see and why I also put in the separate line recognising everyone here too.

I've moved some money to the float and savings, reassessed my bills and am just under £50 short from my final wages.
    - if I don't get carried away moving my current leftover money I won't even need to touch the float money 🤗

  • I’m glad we are all
here to support one another. ❤️MF it’s the little things like the flowers that can knock you for six. I’m sorry to hear some of your RL friends have not been as supportive.

It will be great if you don’t have to use the float money

  • Thanks Skinty

It just shows who my real friends are ❤️

I'm hoping to build the float up to cover the expenses I'll incur over the next however many months. The idea of having to use all my savings, leaving me penniless again is a scary prospect and a very real possibility.

There's supposed to be a delivery today, it's late; TomBo ordered presents for some of the family.

I've put the cat blankets in the wash, not started doing anything else yet. Can't really moan about that as I do need rest, but it's on my mind I want / need to get the flat done.

I am prioritising colouring my hair and getting my brows threaded, even if I don't do anything else. I must look good next week.

    Had A1DI l3bkuch3n biscuits for breakfast 🤭

I think you are doing amazingly and am glad you are focussing on beauty. I admire the fact you can live for a month without your wages. I could not at all at the moment.

  • Thanks SW

It's not really living a month without my wages, it's trying to get through December on 3 weeks money from my old company.

I'm assuming I won't get paid at the end of this month from my new company, but that means I pick up over a month's money at the end of next month.
    - if I do get paid from them this month it will make things a lot easier.

Obviously I'll get money from TomBo next month too, but I'll have to put most of that in the float as I'm now incurring costs and have to pay lawyers etc.

Organising funeral arrangements tomorrow as cause of death has been determined.

Having pork, tomato and garlic sauce with cous cous for tea.

Made the bank call, can't do anything else on that side until the death certificates arrive, which also mean the funeral can't be paid for yet as the bank can't release money.

TomBo wants me to go swimming and get my brows done tomorrow. It will cost £15 but I'm too scared to spend it in case I need the money down the line to cover expenses 😥

    Today:
    - put washing on and hang it
    - colour my hair and brows
    - shave legs
    - strip chicken for curry

I do hope you can treat yourself as you are going through such a tough time. Hopefully the certificates will be soon and then all the finance for the funeral is sorted.

  • The funeral home will usually wait for the money. I think we paid for DM’s after the service.

Hope you can swim and relax. I’m sure £15 won’t make that much difference & you can make it up elsewhere with points or vouchers ?
