Glad you are feeling happier. Dancing and singing is a really positive sign.

Ouch to the knife accident but glad it wasn't worse.

  • Thanks SH, I'm annoyed with myself over the boo-boo as I know all his knives are precision sharp. Just changed the dressing for bed and it wasn't just the pad I got and I must have twisted to get the side too. Hopefully it'll settle over the rest of this week as it's a bit sensitive and tingles.

It was more like a karaoke day. Picked a band and let the music flow 😄 slipper dance stepped, which was fun. I know it's been ages since I last did it as I do tend to post things like that 🤭

TomBo has asked to borrow the car for work, I've told him the days I want it next week and he's going to fill it up too.

  • Thanks SH,

I've not yet decided whether the relief I felt when he got the start date was due to having the second income or because I knew I could change jobs.

It's coming up to his second payday. Things look good for his role, but I won't get my hopes up that we'll stay a two income family.

Of course the extra money is nice, but it's currently clearing the car finance. After that's paid I'll save every penny for as long as it's coming to me.

  • Ouch to the knife cut. Hope it heals quickly. Dancing round the house shows how good you are feeling. Almost there now!

  • Thanks Skinty

I'm letting it air for a bit. I'll see if I can try and clean it up later as there's trapped blood under the mostly stuck down flap bit.

Haven't had time to breathe today, usual amount of queries from the one I'm not training, but I've enough charge left in me from yesterday.

I am looking forward to putting my feet up and will treat myself to another coffee in a minute.

That sounds like a deep cut! I didnt realise Tombo was a Samurai. My knives are so old they are blunt! We are counting down the seconds with you MF. It is nearly the weekend.

  • Thanks SW

He's an ex-chef and likes his knives sharp, I have my own little one he does a few passes with so it's no longer blunt 🤭

I have made it through another day.

  • It seemed so wrong to write what I'm about to in my previous post, as I had a message after I finished writing my last line.

My sibling contacted me to advise my mom passed away at some point today. She died peacefully in her sleep.

I'm bouncing off the walls between anger at my sibling for the vulture like comments and talking them through the immediate steps of contacting medical people etc.
