Thanks Skinty
The pie was good, too salty though. Didn't have space for ice cream afterwards!
It didn't rain so I managed to walk a bit of it off, while watering the garden. Another squash has formed, that's two I'm nurturing and must look up how to tell they're ready to pick.
DD's and saving SO's came out today and I feel quite rich, aside from making it last 27 days. It's also TomBo's cake day this month, therefore I've kept some money back to treat him.
16 weeks until I break up for Christmas.
30 weeks until the CF is paid.
34 weeks until I can remortgage.
451 weeks until I'm mortgage free.
£308 in the bank, £2 is bank fee.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
TomBo got up early and I got up when he made his first cuppa.
I popped to A1DI to do the shopping and go for a spin. Picked up various puddings for the week, steak, pork joint and buffalo burgers (same company as the ones last weekend!), rolls, juice etc cost £33
- I also rigged up my 1p0d up as I've quickly put together a driving playlist.
Had a little potter around the garden, collected kale and herbs. Don't need to water it today.
I'm making plans for the cold weather:
* Finish my current art painting, then I can start another one.
* I would like to finish the little bits of decorating painting and get another coat or two in the main bedroom this year.
- I've not had the energy to even think about the kitchen and have sidelined that until things settle at work.
* Sort through my clothes and scale back my non-work items. If they've not been worn since WAH when I've (kind of) had more free time, they won't get used.
* Create a second bedroom / arty room.
Having steak, spuds and kale for tea, ice cream for pudding.

Well done on the appraisal. Good to see you getting back to your art.
I agree with @Skint_yet_Again your food is indeed delicious sounding!
Have a lovely relaxing weekend

Thanks Skinty and SW.
If I wasn't so indulgent with food I could pay loads more off the mortgage and retire sooner!
I was up before 1.30am and do need to sort some form of second bed out. TomBo is very reluctant as he doesn't want overnight guests.
We're having another lazy day.

Err under the circumstances you deserve a rest day. That is what weekends are for. I hope Tombo comes round to the idea of overnight guests and you reach a compromise. I cannot believe how many projects you have on the go! I cant even think v far ahead. lol. You are vvv inspiring.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

So sorry about the blight. I had that last year too.
Glad your appraisal went well.

Thanks SW,
It's more about me having something else to sit / sleep on aside from the sofa when I'm up mega early. I will probably settle for a £35 fold out chair cushion bed.
The projects are to give me a positive focus as I'm very stressed.
Thanks SH,TomBo pulled a cane up from the borrowed garden yesterday, looked surprised when there was a tomato plant attached to it 🙈 I've still got more left and I'm carefully watching them.
I tried to put a positive spin on the appraisal, it was a farce. My form never got read before the meeting and I suggested wording to go in as my temp boss didn't know what to put 🤨
In other news:
My landing neighbour is selling up. I'm hoping the sold price isn't much less than I paid as it could mess up my remortgage plans. It's also overdue a refurb, no gas just a couple of portable heaters and a few other things which I think lower the comparable value.Upstairs are still unable to get contractors in to do theirs and I doubt that one will be on the market anytime soon.
Today we are going for a drive around the county and buying handmade ice cream on the way back.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
