    Thanks Skinty

We had a great time, I budgeted £50 for everything and came under it. I've got to grips with regular saving, have a routine with clearing bills / paying extra and can afford to have treats without thinking I must save every penny.

B.Care seems a bit more expensive than before. I picked up hair dye, clips, lip glosses, miscellaneous bits and various nail varnish; red, blue, black, purple, some glitter / some normal, and some pastel colours. I spent £25.

SD didn't have the pumps in my size, but I can always order them online or buy them next year.

Visited a cake shop and spent £8.

On the way home we stopped off for ice cream, spent £6.40.

TomBo went to a posh male shop for shaving stuff. He doesn't properly treat himself that often and I've got used to him doing a nice shop every couple of years. He spent £100.

I'm resting up this afternoon as it was quite a drive I did, then the walking around on top of that.

TomBo is thinking about where we will go next weekend and seems a lot happier now I've got the new car for us to go further out. I've said coffee trips and an explore suit me 😀

Pudding will be chocolate tower cake 🤭

Thanks SW, of course he has a name, I won't disclose it here for obvious reasons 😃

I had a nap this afternoon as I've done a lot of driving today. At times I felt like I needed more arms and the only things I'm not confident with were:
    - moving off from a slope / hill start, worried I would roll backwards and over reved to compensate if there was someone behind.
    - nipping into parking spaces by the side of the road and reversing from parking spaces due to awkwardly parked surrounding vehicles.

My confidence took a bit of a dive, but it's very early days with an ultramodern car and I will get the hang of it with a few more drives.

The cake wasn't anything special. A giant profiterole, filled with chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate and cream.

Thanks Skinty. I think it's just a mix of new car, new areas and parking in spots I never would consider in any car I've owned!

Just deciding where to go today, perhaps a garden centre as I've got vouchers (£130) 😀
    - budget is £10 for coffee / ice cream unless I find a coasta to use my coffee voucher (£10) as I'm mindful it expires December.

I've moved money to savings. DD bills come out tomorrow as do two S/O's for savings.

I have also set up a paper record to log my CF O/Ps; my electronic copy shows amount paid, paper copy shows reducing balance. When the money comes this week for the old car, I'm going to make another O/P.

I've enough survey points to pay for nice Christmas and Boxing day food, just don't have the mental energy to start doing them again.

Today we are having roast pork, red cabbage and spuds in some format 😊

We popped to falk1rk today, car park was full at the Kelpies, instead we went to coasta and both were disappointed with our coffee; I do like the A1DI iced coffee sachets.

I've covered over 200 miles since getting the new car. Therefore, it's had enough of a run for me to think it's going to be ok.

Change of plan for tea, it's pie and waffles as TomBo didn't fancy cooking tonight.

Glad you went out and about you so sooo much and make it look so simple. It must be hard getting used to a new car but well done for persevering. All those vouchers are fabulous! Pie and waffles sounds great!

    Thanks SW

I enjoy planning and working everything out, gives me something to focus on when I'm having a rough time at work.

I don't give up easy and hope to do a lot of local driving around to master the last bit. M-ways are too easy, stop / start traffic will sort out confidence.

Kept looking out at my car today, but was too wiped out to go for a drive.

Painted my nails metallic blue sparkles 😀

I'm sorting my licence out this week. Doing it via the PO as they take the photo and get everything sent off, saves me trying to find a photo booth and paying for it; unless I can find a spare photo somewhere as I still look the same.

Told TomBo to send me £50 from the scrap payment, keep the same amount for himself and the other 3rd for shopping. He won't accept his 3rd even though it would cover half of his weekend spends.
    - I'm using my 3rd, plus the insurance refund, as a finance O/P.

Had roast pork and veg for tea, chocolate for pudding, fresh peas as snacks.

I know! So far none have been boiled, we just sit watching TV, cracking a couple of pods open 😃

I've had the car insurance refund, paid another month off the CF and have change leftover towards the next O/P.
    - car tax refund, my 3rd of scrap money and earmarked money from wages will cover the next O/P later this month, after that the CF O/P's will be from wages.

It's a lovely day, sun is shining and the windows are open.

£336 in the bank, £2 is bank fee, 24 days until payday.
