Thanks SW, DIA and LW2G
It's nearly 7 years old, but the newest one I've ever owned. I know a C1 isn't the typical head turner, but it gets my heart racing 😃
- I'm planning a few drives this week.
Working the plans out are draining, trying to ensure every detail is covered and it's realistic. I will have to rework everything out if TomBo asks his mom for a contribution 🙈
I'm also only getting up to 4 hours sleep a night and I'm on day 2 of a migraine, think it's work related, but at least I've a short day tomorrow. I do need to try and book more time off, although I've arranged another couple of long weekends 🤫

The finance company sent me a welcome video! As much as the current climate has made things awkward, there's some nice touches being put together by companies to keep things going.
They are the sister company to the one who refunded me the PPI 🤫
I feel a step closer to leaving my past behind me and within touching distance of a mainstream mortgage. My CC and this finance are both normal rates 😊Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Fantastic news about the new car and finances. It’s great that you can afford it without help & tombo’s mum can see you are not relying on her / expecting her to finance it, so if she does want to gift you / tombo some money at some point I hope you can accept it without feeling guilty.Enjoy the drive! 😁0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Skinty
I haven't financed for more than what's in the bank, which means I can't come unstuck.
I didn't want MIL to think we are short of money and can see I did get quite defensive with her offer 🙈
As far as I can tell in-laws are not aware I had finance problems, or I'm with a sub-prime lender, but they do know the flat didn't cost much. Perhaps MIL has sussed TomBo is more 'househusband' than 'breadwinner' and as we've stuck together any help is beneficial as he has matured.
I've still got my migraine, thankfully I'm doing a short day today and trying to get through it with easy tasks.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
It is nearly the weekend. I hope the migraine is controlled by pills. Poor you.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

I avoided one thing at work and my head is easing, while I have to deal with it Monday, that's ages away.
Some more happy news. The scrap yard will pay £150 for my old car 😲 price of steel is good at the moment and it's a metal dealer we use rather than a car breaker. Means the car is never put on the road again.
I've worked out my playlist for driving back. I think I'm more excitable as I've had to wait, normally I pick a car, view it and drive away with it.
90 minutes til I get the keys 😃😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5
