I am glad that you are taking a balanced approach to your spending and saving. I think it is remember to live now because tomorrow isn't promised - while making sure your future self will thank you for your decisions.

Thank you SH, provided savings and pensions go up, mortgage and CF go down, everything is on track. I had to save every penny when becoming a homeowner as that avoids buying / spending on credit if anything goes wrong, paying minimum payments and falling into the debt cycle.

It's raining today, just what the garden needs again as we haven't had enough to really put sufficient moisture into the soil due to the sun taking it back out.

Haven't yet decided what to do for an adventure, although it would be local as I've barely slept, I overdid it yesterday.

I hope the weather calms down and that you have rest time today to make up for last night. You are not missing anything here. Every time it stops raining i go into garden and it starts again lol.

    Thanks SH and SW

I took advantage of the rain by giving my car a wipe over to get the seagull poop off the windscreen. I do need to buy some wax and whatever else to keep the paintwork looking pretty.

Popped to T while having my drive about. Purchased a cold infusions drink bottle for 94p, which will be great for traveling with my iced coffees and I regret not picking a couple up.

I've had a broken few hours nap this afternoon, but flopped on the sofa since getting up.

Having roast pork and veg for tea 😀

    Thanks SW and SH
It's a daily thing with the birds 🙈

The more free time I get, the more I want to reduce my hours at work.

Went for a very brief nap after work, got woken up by TomBo and the electrician talking 😟 he will be back tomorrow to change some bits then the shower will be working; need new red switch like what the cookers have.
Also recommended other work to prioritise, said it's fine for now. I had the same priority list after originally viewing.

Had beef in tomatoes with pasta for tea.

I hope you can put some systems in place to allow more free time and less tiredness as the new post becomes clearer. It will be the same for me next year. I shant have much time at all. lol. but it will be great to have some money again. Well done Tombo on sorting an electrician out, yum to your tea.

Thanks SW, being realistic I know what's expected within my post. There's only the paper based side of all my elements I can streamline. The physical aspects do worry me as I know how tired I am when in work doing my old role.

I'm trying not to think about it too much and just try to get through each day 😉

Electrician came back this evening and it's all fixed. Best thing is he has plenty of contacts for a full refurb and some he's removed from referring people to. £30 and some booze 😀
    - enjoyed using my shower again!

I'm still not getting enough sleep, nearly long weekend time and I can sort my driving licence out 😊

    We had chippy night.
