I would be saying no too. That’s ridiculous expecting you to do 4 roles no wonder others are rude / abrupt. Sorry but they seem to be taking the mickey

    Thanks SW and Skinty

I don't think it's known I'm doing this much, always seem surprised when I say.
They never twigged I was covering the original role last year from the minute he went off sick, even though I kept saying about different things I was doing.
Nor did they know what my original job was and how that had expanded not long after I started with false promises of a regrade.

If I was being paid a decent wage for it, then it wouldn't be so bad.

Think it's finally getting through about the amount of work I'm doing. She tried to say things will reduce when the other role is replaced until I explained why it wouldn't, my role is huge and when I'm in the office I will barely be at my desk due to the new aspects and everything that covers, plus I will be covering X and new person when they're off.

I also put forward my case for a better salary, basically the one I originally asked for, and asked under what policy I make the request. She's raising it with someone else to see what can be done.

I'm trying to not go over heads over this, nor am I asking for an unrealistic salary.

I do hope they can help. It is like getting money out of a stone at the moment. I do hope things improve for you. At least i can say my hours have been cut so i will cut back on my work. Well done you for fighting for what you deserve.

I will just submit my own application, listing every aspect of my new role, if she doesn't get anywhere!
    - I should also update my CV. Not necessarily to find a new job, but just in case.

The gardening voucher arrived today, might pop to a few nurseries and see what they have.

My nose studs also arrived, want to see what other colours they have and pick a few. Then I can select the appropriate one for mood and outfit on the day.

    Plans for the weekend:
    - Clean and tidy up.
    - Weeding and sowing seeds.
    - Change nail varnish colour.
    - Audit make up.

It is nice to see you balance things out with beauty treatments.

I know what you mean about the weather and health. I'm so much more mobile in the summer.

Your plans for the weekend sounds perfect. Enjoy.

I won't say what the latest farce is, needless to say I will be sending an email next week about it.

So far I'm sat on the sofa with my feet up. I'm absolutely shattered and my cat is snoring enough for both of us.

There is light at the end of the tunnel as I'm on schedule to clearing the mortgage by 2030!
    - I'm now slipping extra O/Ps when I don't fill up the car.

The change to my one credit report appears to have been well received by my bank, based on the potential offers for finance. I'm closely watching the mortgage one as when that gets to the right stage it's time to contact my broker.
    - I will dive into savings to remortgage away from over 5.5%, unless mainstream rates suddenly rise and mine turn out to be good ones.

My great ten year plan takes me to 55 years old, which I think is a nice age to make a shorter great 5 year plan. Everything is connected as the sooner the mortgage is cleared, the quicker I can save up more, then not working FT or at all comes in to the picture.
