Sounds like you are getting the work under control. I think we are all looking at how things will go once we are back at work. I’m looking forward to seeing people again but lots of changes have happened since lockdown and many people are leaving. I think we will be partly wfh and partly in the office.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Skinty
It's because a couple of other people are also on holiday, therefore I'm not getting emails every 5 minutes from them. What is annoying me is one person (A) is saying they're too busy and to pass requests to me to deal with, it's in the email chain.
I've already said I want a different office when I'm back in due to my work and the paper records I have to keep. I'm not fussed about seeing my colleagues as all it does is take me away from my work to do 'pass the time' chat, that's why I've enjoyed WAH.
I don't know if I'm coming or going. I'm losing track of days, getting a few hours sleep and looking forward to my long weekend!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

Thanks Skinty and SHThe great thing I don't have to worry about one person being around 🤫
"A" passed me work a few weeks ago, I've been dealing with it and got all the information, sent it back to them today and was told they've already dealt with it. I'm finding it all very frustrating as I could be doing other things.
I'm starting early and will stick with these hours, a permanent change and WAH request will go in when I know what's going on with every aspect of my role. Unfortunately I can't start any earlier due to company rules.
It's all making me more determined to save, clear the mortgage and stop working. Unfortunately, I need to save £650pm if I retire at 55, but I will see how things are financially in a few years.

Yum to good food. There is always a difficult person or clique in a workplace we have to focus on the wages that's how i get through the day! It's great that you have a plan.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Thanks SW, I work in a totally different location to the difficult people, who are all in a clique due to them working together. Attending meetings is even more apparent and I feel like "a spare P at a party". Thankfully most at my location are nice, although there's a few I wouldn't have anything to do with. Since WAH I've actually got to know a lot of the people I work with, before I barely knew their names.
I've never been one to do a job just for the money, it's quite alien to me, but I'm starting to see why others have over the years.
MIL is visiting today. She will be the first family / friend to step inside the flat. I need to rush round hiding a few things to give the illusion of being organised and do some more cleaning. Unfortunately, TomBo didn't do nowhere near as much as I thought he would.
I also have to run over to the butcher to get pie for our lunch.

It was easier for me to do it as I would only have had to redo everything he did!
The visit went well and the pie was appreciated; chicken and ham.
MIL offered to buy us a new car 😯 said whenever ours becomes too expensive to keep going just ask her and she'll send the money. She wants the money to get used while she's around.
- based on something else she handed to TomBo (gift from his late father to be given when she felt appropriate) it seems like she feels he is now a responsible adult.
I'm getting quite emotional writing this and can't see my screen. Overwhelming generosity is something I've never experienced until today.
