I did pop to the m-talan site, found £10 discount code. Ordered 8 tops and 2 jeans £44.50, free p&p. Should arrive by Friday.
All I want now is another 2 pairs of basketball pumps, or basketball boots and a couple of cardigans / jumpers and that should be me set for a few years 😃

    Plans for me:
    - buy some nail varnish and lip gloss.
    - pick up a few boxes of hair dye.
    - book salon appointment for every other month, I can afford it with the permanent wage.
    - I'm considering having my haircut once a year as a birthday / Christmas gift to myself.
-- all this will come to under £250 a year, which isn't bad.

Thanks SH. I'm trying to a lot over the weekends, before the temperature drops in a few months and I lose mobility. I will have a lot of memories to get me through the winter 😃

Well done on the mat Alan bargains. Wish I could only have a hair cut once a year! My hair is thin & lanky once it gets past a certain length. I’ve hacked at it with scissors before now but I am no hairdresser and it shows 😆 so I get a cut once every 2 months

When I had my 'career' I used to have my hair done each payday.

Now I mainly clip it up and that's why I can get away with not having regular hairdressing visits. It gets cut to shoulder length, it grows to almost waist level and then lopped off again a year or so later.

I've tried having loose perms a couple of times over the years so it's one less thing to do, they didn't take; another hairdresser said not to try again as I'm wasting money.

The idea of spending an hour each day making loose waves and applying a bit makeup doesn't appeal as I've not got the energy. Although my hair does look great the couple of times I've done it on the weekends, due to the colours.

Yesterday and today I'm doing the tasks not in my new role. Took me all afternoon to do two things, how is that a good use of my time.

I've my salon appointment lunchtime, 2nd jab this evening and after we are doing food shopping.

Still not 100% happy with how my eyelashes are done, can't fault the top ones it's just the lower ones barely get any dye on them.
    - They get me to close my eyes and then apply the dye to top and bottom at the same time.
    - My old salon used to do the bottom ones, then I close my eyes so they could do the top ones.

Picked up hair dye, spare trainers and more smalls while shopping. They gave me a money off voucher afterwards for clothes; valid until after payday so may pick up spares.

Had my 2nd jab and I'm struggling to work due to limited use of body and pain levels. I'm focusing on a couple of important things and everything else can wait until I'm back to normal.

MIL is visiting next week, first one to come inside. TomBo is going to clean and tidy up, I need to finish a few bits of painting in the hall / lounge.

£227 in the bank, £2 is bank fee, 21 days until payday.

    Sorry you were disappointed.
The jab isn't nice but worth it

Can’t you ask them to do your lashes the same way as your previous salon? You are the customer after all

Sorry to hear you are struggling after the jab Hope it gets better for you soon

    Thanks SH and Skinty

I am going to ask them. I end up with a lot less dye in my eyes the other way!

Limped through work and it turns out I'm covering for someone else on holiday too. That's four roles I'm doing; two on holiday, the vacant post and mine.
Odd how I'm the one with the least experience, have a bigger role than everyone else and I'm the one that is expected to cover others. It's probably because I'm more approachable as the others are quite rude / abrupt.
    - I've mentally prepared an email in case anyone gets donkey with me.

Flopped on the sofa and just have to get through tomorrow. Have a meeting tomorrow and will ask how I apply for another payrise after I get the other one.

    My M-talan order arrived 😃

No garden visit today, just resting this evening with my feet up.
