    Thanks SW
My actual role I'm sure in time I can work it better.  The cover elements are a nightmare. I'm clearing up after my ex-boss and the ones who had the role before that, the systems are old and not user friendly, training and guides are for even older versions. Plus the idea of covering the other person for nearly a month, me having no more days off after this lot and someone actually acknowledging the workload is excessive for the wages.
    - They haven't been able to fill a similar role yet and I'm not hopeful this one will get snapped up or that someone will last.
    - I have to try to focus on the experience I'm gaining and the mortgage reducing.

TomBo got me some flowers today, they look pretty.

Had a walk round the gardens, no rabbits around.

I wish work wasn't so stressful. When it get's too much i just think how much have i earned today! Then i think of the garden. It will be worth it MF you are thinking about it in a constructive way. Thank goodness it is nearly the weekend.

So sorry to hear you are so stressed. You have been trying to manage their unrealistic expectations & I am surprised you lasted as long as you have up to now before a melt down. You have lasted longer than I would, I would have been in tears weeks ago. How on earth are you expected to do 2 jobs. I know you want the cv entry & pay the mortgage down but is it really worth what it’s doing to you ? Be kind to yourself and rest when you can. Yay to Tombo & beautiful flowers 💐

I’m sorry you’re having such a tough time, it sounds like a completely unreasonable amount of work to be expected to do! Hope you have a restful weekend and please look after yourself, it’s not worth wrecking your health over any job, but especially one that has treated you the way this one has

    Thanks SW, Skinty and RL

I've just calculated my annual take-home pay and it's under £18k, not sure I want to break it down further!

I'm currently doing the work of what used to be three roles, plus covering another one from next week.  I will clear my head and bounce back, I always do and that's why I end up with huge roles compared to most people.

I totally agree about my health and I'm constantly monitoring it.

I've been highly stressed for a while, been focusing on the positives all the time at home and the money at work, until it tipped me over. I'm still annoyed and upset about it, there's a related ongoing problem. TomBo wants to go legal now after what happened and I can't blame him, we all should have done ages ago.

I'm thinking this may be my last FT role unless we move and take a bigger mortgage; still can't borrow enough for something better.  I've another 4 payrises until I'm at the top when I'm 50 years old and I might be able to clear the mortgage in that time by making O/Ps and building a lump-sum.

    Off to m-talan now 😃

    Thanks DIA and SW

We've been for an adventure today!

Picked up 3 pairs of jeggings, 4 vest tops and some smalls, spent under £60.

TomBo wanted to take me out to lunch afterwards but some required booking, others we couldn't get parking. In the end we stopped off at a burger van at the beach, then went to an ice cream shop.

Popped to the butcher's for the last of my order (beef ribs, huge and just about fit in the oven!), spent under £85

I've taken a few photos and saw some of the views were breathtaking.

That sounds like a bit of an adventure. It's lovely to treat yourself to clothes and lovely food. Hurrah for scenery.
