    Thanks LW2G

I've sown seeds for SIL as I can't see how she will get everything growing due to having little free time.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks are prepared, written a list to remind myself what to take, I've packed as much as I can and have to do the rest in the morning.

Had coffee and walnut cake for pudding.

Glad the gardening and community side of things is going well. It makes a real difference - and sounds like its therapy for you both too

I hope so DIA! I may end up putting some into No2's garden if I run out of space.

Thanks SH, it's definitely therapy as the stress melts away the minute I step into our garden.

Had my early start today, productive meeting and it's up to me if I go in or not, aside from the one day next week; been told to go after the meeting if I want to and just WAH.
Only downside is although I left when planned I ended up working from the moment I got home until normal finish time ☹️ must try harder next time. Been told to apply for the job I'm covering, if it becomes available.
Did way too much walking, stairs, lifting and shifting.
    - purchased diet pop on the way in £1.99 as a treat.

Good news is driving in is a good possibility as I only used about £3 petrol. Will sort my hours out when it's business as normal, discussed with big boss today.

Spent a while in the garden after I finished.
    - Out of the 5 types of lettuce only the iceberg hasn't popped up yet.
    - Roses are budding up.
    - Tomorrow I will start hardening the peas off, they grew an inch in 24 hours!

I'm shuffling around at home when I do move, as to be expected.

Had a beef stroganoff type thing with spuds for tea, pudding was coffee and walnut cake with cream (I earned those calories today!)

£17.99 in the bank, £2 is bank fee, £20 in my purse. 9 days until payday.

I do hope they promote you to the other job as you will be financially better off but i hope they dont take advantage of your talent and make you. Yum to your food, so sorry you are struggling to walk. Well done on lettuce and roses. What is in those peas? OMG One inch!

Well done on having cash and money in the bank.

    Thanks SW,

The dwarf and borlotto beans pushed the plastic lid up overnight, I've removed that and put it on other things. I'm finding it fascinating seeing the changes, not only overnight but also throughout the day.

I just have to quietly wish the other one becomes available, but won't get my hopes up in the interim.

    Thanks SH.

I'm doing flexi today and looking forward to finishing. Feels like I'm doing three and a bit roles now and lots more hours.

The other vacancy has popped up, the one I was told about months ago. On first glance, it's slightly better than my actual job, but not exactly long-term, probably the stepping stone out of the company with no more experience than I've got. I will print the spec off next week and have a proper look at it. I've a few weeks to think and get my CV updated.

I've been pottering around the garden each evening, tending to seedlings and watching TV.

Planning to pop to a nursery later as I want a few canes.
