@savingholmes I've got loads of food, I thought I had a lot less in the freezer than I actually do have, unless my OH put some in when he gave me a few bags the other day.

Realistically, I've at least 3 months of meat, fish fingers in the freezer, plus veg, Ice cream, leftovers etc.

Let alone all the stuff I picked up today for the freezer / cupboards.

I can bulk cook lentil soup / curries / bacon and beans / stews etc and I've falafel mix and flavoured cous cous etc for quick and easy meals.

Because I've been a vegi and a vegan over the years, I can make a good meal!

Therefore, I will be fine. I don't have the cupboard space here to do bigger shops, less frequently, but I do have a pantry in my place.

I am and I'm sorry if I caused you concern!

Once I move and get back to having a gas cooker, I can start baking again. That way I can make savoury biscuits, banana and walnut bread, fruit biscuits and I will share recipes and photos of the goodies.

glad you are prepped. I had toilet roll from my parents in their last visit. I only go shopping at weekends. Mum is staying with me and says all the loo roll etc has finished. I told her not to go shopping this weekend  as everything will sell out(Steve and Andy said it was crazy like Christmas with the crowds in the supermarket at 8am). We will make do. She is currently making a nice soup from scratch. Just rest I am going to bed after Inspection. lol.

Had a restful morning and stripped my nail varnish off. Will do my nails later or tomorrow.

Had a lovely bowl of mulligatawny soup, M@rris@ns own brand. It was quite thick when I emptied it into the pan, so I added about ¹/⁴ water to the tin to get all the remaining soup out, added it to the pan with a few grinds of pepper. Absolutely lovely and was up there with H3inz. Even my cat got a little bit to try.

Tonight I'm having fish fingers and cous cous.
---I'm fussy about fish, if it looks or tastes like fish, I won't eat it. Therefore, it's only fish fingers, the cheap white fish battered / breadcrumbs or fishcakes I will eat, with a side to counteract it.

Nibbles will be fruit, nuts and maybe ice cream.

Still being cautious with what I eat as the tooth isn't settled, nor are any over that half of my mouth. I have purchased toothpaste for sensitive teeth and hopefully it will all calm down; my meds don't help with the pain.

Some good news, as you know I've been watching what I'm eating and have lost 8lb just by cutting out crisps, chocolate, biscuits and portions that were too big.

It will be great when I move and I start swimming each week.

Due to doing a big shop yesterday and filling my car (petrol had gone down so I thought best to fill the other half of my tank), I won't be able to put any more money away.

£11.25 in the bank, £5 in my purse, to last until payday in 2 weeks.

Nails done yesterday, pretty purple with glitter and looks so nice. It was the stuff I picked up while waiting for my dentist appointment.

Been to the supermarket this morning, managed to get some veg and salad bits, plus some more soup and couscous, my OH added my stuff to his shopping - zero cost to me. As we are having warm days it's nice to have a salad lunch at work.

    Food today:
Mulligatawny soup - lunch, added ¹/³ water to it today and can get away with adding more to have a big bowl.
Chocolate 🍩 donut, just the one - snack.
TBC, probably meat and veg - dinner.
    Fruit - snacks

I will confess to having some Bombay mix after midnight, so that's been accounted for in today's MFP log.

Got a bit of a sniffle therefore it's a day of random TV and movies, I've already picked out Shawn of the Dead as I need a good laugh.

My broker can't extend my mortgage offer until a week before it expires, looks like I won't be exchanging this month and doubt I will be moving next month now.

Fingers crossed I do not lose this flat.

Still on my diet and somehow managing to still eat a decent amount of goodies. I've been tracking everything via MFP.

I've introduced fruit and fibre cereal into my food planning, will see how my tummy copes with it and if it's ok, then that's going to get eaten a few times a week.

    Today's food:
    Fruit and fibre - breakfast
    Salad - lunch
Grapes, rice pudding, jelly - snacks
    Pork and veg - tea

Not heard from my solicitor. Will follow this up when I get my probation letter, not sure when I will get that at the moment.

My boss is self-isolating, due to a passenger getting ill. Most of my colleagues are working at home. Yesterday there was going to be 15% of us in the office, from today it looks like there will be 5%. We all have our own offices and have very considerate cleaners who have been going over everything with a fine tooth comb.

As much as I would love to work at home, it just isn't practical at the moment, I've too much to organise, recordings need to be done at work and I'm sure with most people out I can get on top of my workload, once I get everything done, then I can look to work remotely to keep it all ticking over.

Part of my reluctance to do so now is I need to have all my ergonomic gear shipped to my flat. As I'm gearing up to move, it's chaos at home.

Another reason is all I've done lately is go to work / home, with an occasional supermarket trip, the idea of being stuck inside that flat, isn't one I want to think about.

I made the executive decision to turn up in jeans etc, I'm no longer dealing with people or attending meetings, therefore I've relegated the snazzy office wear. Gosh, it feels good to be in trainers!

£21 in the bank, as my brother sent me £10, 9 days til payday.

  • Hope things get sorted with your probation letter & solicitor and your move goes ahead.

Everyone has to make their own decision about working from home. If you don’t have any symptoms it’s a personal choice, just stay safe & follow the guidance about travelling to work & hand washing etc
