Good morning Sue and all fellow potters!
I'm so glad that it's a bit cooler this morning. I just can't stand the oppressive heat we've been having. Is it an age thing?
Anyway, another craft sale this week netting £10.60 I know it's not much but I'm still not visiting shops which accept cash. I'm trying not to visit shops FULL STOPI wear a mask but still can't get out of there fast enough!
I hope everyone is well. ((HUGS)) to anyone who is feeling low and a kiss x for Sue-UU who keeps us on our toes whatever is happening around us.
Stay well xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Hi Potters
Sorry I have been missing the last couple of weeks, it's been rather hectic at chez Siju. DH and I had a week off work and it seemed to disappear in a flash. DS arrived to stay again for the first weekend as he was, sadly, attending a funeral. Then the rest of the week flew by in a haze of hustle and bustle. We didn't actually go anywhere, so I'm not quite sure why we were so busyLast weekend, DS and his fiancee plus DD and her husband rented a cottage nearby for the week. They didn't allow pets, so DH and I had DD's two adorable puppies to stay. We've had such a fantastic week, the weather has been (mostly) great and we have had many meals sitting in the garden, watching the puppies chasing each other around the garden. So lovely to have some family time together
2020 has taught us that you can't take anything for granted and these times are to be cherished.
No cash to pot again, but still continuing with my virtual pot. Time to catch up on everyone else's news nowKeep safe and well Potters. xx

Sadly no potting and no cat but life goes on. My friend had my boy for the night on Thursday as I couldn’t cope. Even though I was working on Friday the silence and uninterrupted time was just what I needed. I only have one more full week working then I have days off mixed with working days up until he returns to school. Going away for 2 nights 26/27; isolation in a field in Northumberland in a shepherds hut! Looking forward to less juggling of demands on my time. Amazingly I did manage to get some gardening done yesterday and the downpours overnight have topped up the pond. My son and I had a chat last night about “things” and I’ve seen a slight change this morning, hopefully it will last. Hope everyone is safe and well 🥰SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5

Good Afternoon Potters!
I hope your everyone had a really gorgeous weekend, and will, to a degree, enjoying the week ahead! 🤩
Do please TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in any way, here are very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling a lot better.Hiya little_sweetie, no, the heat definitely isn't an age thing, or if it is, there's a heck of a lot of people the same age as us! Our DD & her DH were sweltering, their kiddies too. By the way, DD has had her first infusion of Tysabri, her MS drug last Thursday, so now it's a case of fingers crossed that it doesn't affect her brain!! 😕 She can only take it for 2 years as when they tested her she's one of the few who's liable to get the brain disease that Tysabri is known to give! Apparently there's less chance if it's only taken for 2 years, though she'll be tested regularly to make sure in between. Then it's a case of what they put her on after!£10.60 is just great to have earned yourself, be really chuffed with it!! 🥳I'm still not going to shops, too risky with the COPD! T still clicks and collects. You look after yourself, G too. xxHi siju, good to see you back, though I'd far sooner you enjoy your time with your DH than worry about coming back here quick. I quite agree about lessons learned from Covid, it really helps us take stock of life in general, but especially our loved ones. 🥰I'm glad you enjoyed time with your DS, his fiancée as well as your DD and her DH. So glad they could all stay close by, and I bet you thoroughly enjoyed having the pups! 😍STILL NO CAT then Hetty! 😳 That's a long time to be awol. Sounds as though your little lad has been a little monkey again, but after your 'chat' it's good to hear things may have turned around, let's hope they stay that way. 🤩Oooh your 2 nights away in a shepherd's hut in Northumberland sounds pure bliss! 🥰 Be sure to thoroughly enjoy yourselves, especially after all the work you've been doing!!Enjoy the rest of MONDAY folks, and a lovely TUESDAY! Keep safe and STAY HEALTHY!SueNB folks: Opening date for SPC 13 is 29th October 2020.Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!So please just ask and you will be made very welcome

Evening potterssssssssssssss
I was just catching up and thinking 'well where the fig has the thanks button gone now!' get to the bottom and there is no comment box either, yep MSE logged me out AGAIN!
Thank you for the comments re the car, I swear if it wasn't so darned annoying i'd laugh at how rediculous it is! No reply from the garage since I replied saying I would accept the car cost and the cost of filing against them, so looks like we are going to court!
Its all very vexed here in the jakesmum house hold, we are meant to be going to Lanzarote in a few weeks, tour operator has sent us our tickets, online check in has opened . . but the government and FCO still say no non essential travel
Have checked us in but don't dare get excited about it in case we get the last minute 'you ain't going' emailWhat a blumin palava, no idea what we will do if they cancel it, this will be the second holiday gone and I think DH might lose the plot if we don't go somewhere soon. A break away always helps with his mental health so to have one cancelled was tough, but two may just push him over the edge. Unfortunately he's one of those people where its not a holiday if you don't get on a plane so he'd be even worse if I tried to book something in this country sighhhhh.

Hello 😀 that’s it really! I’ve not potted due to our break next week, I’d best have a bit of ice cream 🍦 money 😆. Hoping to be able to pot when I’m back next Friday as it will also be payday. Had an email from after school club; prices going up, going to start billing in advance and there is no longer the option to cancel ad hoc (used to be 4 weeks notice). I’ll have to make sure that I arrange things such as dentist and tea at friends etc on a day they haven’t bothered to allocate me childcare. Don’t they realise I’ve a pot to fill 😉 ps still no cat 😔SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5

Good Afternoon SPCers!
I hope you've had a fairish week, though what some weather! Not a great day today either and with terrible winds throughout the night!!
Do please TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in any way, here are very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling a lot better.Oh dear Jakes-mum, so sorry to hear that you've got a court date to look ahead to at some point. I bet you wish you'd never gone looking for cars at all!Fingers crossed with your holiday to Lanzarote, I sincerely hope it goes ahead without any hitch and that your DH is a lot happier having (fingers crossed) had his break.DH & I certainly won't be going anywhere this year, too risky!Brilliant potting with the £2ers!! 🤩Hi mummytummy. Sorry you're sharing the same problems as most of us are, but good luck with the £1 a day. Flippin heck is 70 days all it is until we declare?! Unbelievable. 😮 Keep healthy in Oz!I still don't know what's best from here on, especially as there's a VSPC on MSE. An extremely troubling time for sure.Hi Hetty. Sorry to hear you've not been able to pot, but don't worry as it's more important you have enough for your break next week.I'm surprised the school is able to say parents have to keep up the club at the school's say so, payment too! After all, it's them doing the price hike! Good luck with getting everything sorted, and have a lovely break!PS. Sounds like the cat's comfortable at his/her new lodgings. 🙄£20 added to the IOU sheet this week!!Have a SMASHING WEEKEND folks! Happy weekend everyone. Had a really tough week at work but must count myself lucky to be in a job with everything that’s going on. Potted a few more pounds this week. Managed a few outside socially distant beers last night which was really nice.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 55
