Potted a bit of change at the weekend and a £2 coin to the Terrimundi too! Still paying most by card and very few trips out. Hope everyone okay and looking forward to a nice weekend. 😀

Slow adding change to the pot as I am not going our and hubbie is using the card all the time. I like the idea of a virtual pot next year if this is going to continue.

Usual bit of travel savings potted this week, I’m so predictable but not much going on at the moment. Meeting up outside with some of the wife’s family tomorrow , which will be nice.

Good morning everyone!
I keep getting signed out of the thread and struggle to get back in! Aarrgh...
Anyway, I just popped in to report another craft sale on fleabay of £6.94 which has been added to my virtual pot.  It's a small amount but it helps as I'm still mostly shopping online or using a contactless card, so absolutely no change to pot   I've usually started my (shhh... Chr*stmas) gift shopping by now and there's NO chance right now.  Heaven knows what everyone will be getting in their stocking this year.  Even gift vouchers are a bit risky with the current situation.
It was sooo hot yesterday (too hot for me!) but this morning is lovely and fresh and cool.  I won't be going anywhere (that's a surprise, I hear you say ) so it will be another relaxed crafting day, I think.  I already have bids on items which I listed on Thursday so it's looking good.

Hi frostie, I'm unsure about us changing to become a virtual SPC next year as there's already one on MSE. 😞 I really don't know how we're going to work it yet, and that darned virus will still be with us 😡 We'll see. 

Don't worry about being predictable where potting's concerned, Ant, it's only like that because you named it, the main thing is you're saving! Be proud! 😀

Re the Christmas (be brave with the name as the member he was so against saying it has long gone) shopping, it's going to be difficult this year. I hadn't even thought about gift vouchers, but they are going to be a problem. 🤔

Thanks so very much A, yes  we're all so very proud of Joey! He's done so well, even teaching foreign students at an academy on the coast through the holidays - well until this year and Covid!! 😡 Things are going to be difficult from here on for him though with so much unknown.

T's not too bad thanks, back problems all going back to his work years ago. I'm still struggling with the ankle, there's still some swelling throughout and the pain goes on, so I can only presume it was a severe sprain! I'm so looking forward to being normal again - be quiet jakes-mum! 😉

Don’t think I would ever post here on a Monday BUT just found a penny roadkill for the pot so am rather excited, seeing as roadkill has been so rare during lockdown   Won’t give the location away as don’t want you other SPCers coming to this now fertile ground looking for a share of the spoils

Hello sue , my wife casually mentioned this morning that she picked up a pound coin yesterday - I was sooo pleased for her I’m sure you can imagine!

Hope your aches and pains are improving - Wife’s uncle was hobbling around at the weekend as his knee has been giving him grief for a week or so. Like many a man he has decided to NOT get it looked at by a Doctor
