A very Good Morning to you all Potters! What a lousy week for members here on SPC with ONLY 3 members posting!! I know there are reasons for some of it, but certainly not all. Anyway, here's hoping you've had a really lovely weekend, especially with the beautiful weather. 

For all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low in any way, here are very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling a lot better.

I'm pleased you can look ahead to the roof work being done without worry.

It sounds as though your young lad is following the trend in having hair that looks totally alien to normal! 😀 Mind you with another 3 weeks added he'll possibly look different again! 

Hubby & I have been keeping each others trimmed up, we'll be  saving a fortune in time. 😆

Crikey that'll be a really long time you'll be working from home for then. Keep safe!

Obviously your DS was back at home, not with his DG. Anyway, good to know he's back to normal in working again.

Hi everyone,  had a really boring week with nowhere to go and some very wet weather!  I'm happy to report that I sold some more craft items over the weekend and have potted £15.67 into my virtual pot.  Thank you so much Sue-uu for your very kind comments a while ago re my crafting I'm not selling anywhere near as much as I did last year though, there are no craft fairs for starters   Nor likely to be, I think...
We were thrilled to be asked over to DD on Sunday for a BBQ in the garden as the weather was actually dry and warm!  Although we are in their 'bubble' we were not sure whether or not we are now allowed to hug?  We didn't, just in case, but it was so hard not to.

Hi everyone, not a lot going in the pot at the mo as not been going out spending! This week on hols so hopefully some change for the pot at the end of the week 😀 it’s raining here in Devon but was lovely yesterday 😀have a good week everyone

My tin was full and I don't want any going missing so emptied and banked.  Put 5 bags in mine and the boys accounts each so all banked in one go and safe as houses 🙌 signature updated

Hi Potters, hope you are having a great week so far.  After such a lovely weekend, the weather had a nasty turn yesterday just as we were having some work done to the garden!  I couldn't believe our luck.  Oh well, that's Welsh weather for you..... 
We managed to visit MIL and FIL last Friday and sat in their garden for a hour then travelled to visit DD and had a lovely lunch with her.  Such a relief to do something 'normal'.  Yesterday DH and I had our locks cut.  DH looks so much better but I had to drag him kicking and screaming to my hairdresser.  He absolutely hates having his hair cut, he tells me his ears get cold  Mine had grown into a short bob so I've decided to keep it that way and she just tidied up the ends and coloured it.  Feels great
As far as potting is concerned, no change to pot but another £5 in my virtual pot.  Enjoy the rest of your week Potters

Hi everyone,
Sorry to have been absent for so long. I have not touched actual money since March so the probably £50 in the pot is probably as good as it gets. Usually I save for Christmas using a mix of surveys, cashback and the sealed pot. None of which are going well at the moment. I am not great with online accounts as there is always temptation. Anyone got any ideas on alternative methods I could give a go? I am hoping for inspiration.

Hi little_sweetie. I'm pleased to hear you've sold more of your craft work, sadly though, I guess it's quite natural sales won't be as high this year. Goodness only knows what Christmas will be like! 

I'm so thrilled you were able to see your dear Daughter, have a BBQ together too. I had the first hug with our DD last week 🤗, admittedly it was a lot to do with her MS which has been rough lately, but it was a joy to hug each other after so long! 🥰😀 

T's fine thankfully, but the ankle is still a pain! It was 3 weeks on Sunday and looks as though it'll be a while yet. 😟

You've confused me a little, siju, your "hair has grown into a short bob"? What was it before ...a crew cut?!!!! I'm pleased you and your DH have your hair sorted at last. My DH has cut mine today, the 2nd time since lockdown! :)I'm like your DH, I detest going to the hairdressers, so the lockdown brought quite a relief to me!! I bet your MIL and FIL were really pleased to see you both, your DD too. Very well done with the potting! Fingers crossed for the Welsh weather whenever you decide to have it done next.

You're not alone Bounty, BUT siju and I have been using a sheet of paper/notebook to put an estimate IOU amount which we will pot when things are safer. This year isn't going to be an easy one for we cash lovers, but how about an IOU sheet for you!

Sorry i have not posted on here for yonks and yonks, i just hate this forum now
I have been potting well though, i know i have over £300 already, let's hope i triple that before the big reveal 😁

Hope everyone is keeping well and safe in these odd days, my dh has been working all the way through but is on holiday this week so we went good ol'e skeggy for an overnight trip as we were supposed to be in Yorkshire for the week and going to the Yorkshire show , but of course all cancelled

I will try not to leave it as long till i drop on by again 😁😁

Hello Bubbs, it's really good to hear from you. I quite understand what you mean about the site, nowadays there's nothing to like about it, such a shame a new format was ever thought of as it's putting no end of folk off, many members aren't even able to get through!! 😡 

You're doing extremely well with your potting and have much to be proud of. Keep up the amazing work Bubbs! 😀🤩

Another £15 added to the to my IOU list, I'm unsure whether to start "real potting" again or not as I've a horrible feeling Covid 19 will raise its ugly head again in autumn and winter! I sincerely hope I'm wrong but...! 🙄😟

Another week of strangeness survived, and a few more pounds potted. As well as IOUs the money box starting to feel quite heavy now. Won’t be a fortune but will be something worthwhile by the time opening day arrives.
