Sue-UU said:I wondered if you might have overdone things on your bike, jakes-mum, do take care! I did wonder after posting if Lily would probably have been sensible enough to have simly been kicking the ball to and from each other, of course I was right!!
I'm glad it isn't just me whose missed other members dropping in with their news, especially of new births, that's why I was thrilled to put Frogletina's on!
If the thread does close, I too will still still pot my notes etc regularly, as you say though, it certainly won't be the same come Declaration Day, still you can still PM me.
Fantastic news on your £65 potted!!!!!
may have to ring the doctor next week if it doesn't go away as i've now had it 4 days and its getting worse, but according to Dr Google, these things can take up to a week to sort themselves out.
I make no guarantees that you wont get umpteen messages of my ramblings ending in 'well i potted 17p today' :l:lol:
Another £10 potted from a receipt scanning app and should hopefully have another £5er from a second app in a few weeks, plus am building up a nice little sum in my survey site as well which I will cash out in the coming weeks (you only need to get to a £5er to cash out so its easy to get to the cash out point!)
Congratulations Frogletina! so many baby cuddles!!
Ahhh well done to your little boy Hetty, its hard being a boyeverything is there to be climbed, swung on and in the form of people 'tested to the limits', it does get easier! My 'little' firecracker is 19 now and I look back and think I have no idea how I coped with him but we got there and he's a lovely lad, still winds his sister up to the max and doesn't always say the right thing at the right time, but the hardest years are definitely behind us.
Welcome to the group Welshspendthrift! Have a read of the first post its filled with lots of important information like what day we open the tins! (my favourite day!) the ever enchanting Sue-UU will be along shortly to give you your very own, one of a kind, not to be pawned, bartered or auctioned, SPC number! Pop it on your signature for the world to see as come count up day it helps our Sue to keep a tally of who has saved what and who has left to declare when she starts chasing the stragglers. Feel free to tell us lots of stuff about yourself, we're a nosy bunch and make sure you pop in and tell us of any potting you do, we like to cheer our potters on here!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10004 -

Much appreciated.Well done with what you've potted, LivingInTheBlack! You might not be saving as much as you would normally have done due to Covid 19, but as you say, anything is better than nothing!I know your problems are ongoing, jakes-mum, but I meant that I thought you would have exacerbated it. It sounds as though you've got a chest infection, remember to drink PLENTY OF WATER!! That'll certainly help clear it and soothe it. Oooo the apps! well I have a few! My first is called Spinday and is a free app on the app store where you have a certain number of spins 3 times a day and win coins, once you get 5,000,000 coins you exchange it for £5 in to your paypal. Ive cashed out 3 times so far so know its legit. Be warned anyone who downloads it, you will watch A LOT of ads as thats how they make their money (some will be for other win free money type games, they are scams where you never reach the payout thresh hold!), but if you are happy to dedicate 20 mins, 3x a day you can get a little bit of potting money for free.
DISCLAIMER! Some of the ads you are shown may be for slot type apps that you can gamble real money, if you are in DFW because of gambling or feel you will not be able to ignore these types of ads, please don't download this app! A free £5er every couple of months is not worth putting yourself in financial danger!
The other apps I have are receipt scanning apps, where you scan your shopping receipts and email online receipts) and build up points, then cash out when you have the required amount. Some are pretty quick others take a while. The apps I use are: Zip Zero, Receipt Hog, Shoppix, Huyu and snap my eats. Some only accept leading supermarket receipts, other accept any retailer. Snap my eats is obvs food receipts (including shopping), and you can scan the same receipts across all the apps!
A lovely £2 coin in the tin today after a trip to the post office

I’ve potted a £10 note; we’ll it was just sat in my purse for a couple of weeks untouched and there’s another one sat in a tin in the cupboard for spending cash. School is going well and he seems to have settled down a bit, we are all pleased with the effort he is putting into his work. Excited that my best friend is coming tomorrow! Not seen her since February. I’ll be plonking a cuppa on the garden table and running away to a safe distance 😂 but it will be soooooooooo nice to speak with another adult! We ventured out to Aldi on Friday for our weekly shop, not been there since lockdown but my budget can’t take Tesco prices anymore. Someone told me about another store a mile further away in the opposite direction that was normally quieter so we tried that one. In, out, shopped and put away in an hour! No hassle, no queues, no one kicking off and everyone being courteous; best shopping trip since lockdown and to think I was concerned about going there as smaller stores. I also have good news, I’m going to be a great auntie again! Makes me feel old to say that but my sister is older than me and had her kids young whereas mine arrived late. Apparently should be here for Christmas, 12 week scan done this past week and so far everything is tickety boo 🥰. Won’t get baby cuddles though like Frogletina as she lives about 100 miles away ☹️SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5
