I have been decluttering and it is getting remarkably easy to let stuff go. Not sure why...
Anyway, I spent the day inside as it is wet and cold. So, scores on the doors are limited but...

A NSD claimed so now on 3/15.

    I am grateful for:
Enough leftovers not to have to cook anything today.
    Central heating.
    Oolong tea

Today I am grateful for a walk out with dd while it was still clear, for 10 hours of sleep, for making a yummy soup and using the BNS I'd roasted a few days ago (I often forget and it goes manky...), for dh getting a bookcase that's not as deep as the outgoing one so his books should no longer be 2 deep (what is the point of that, eh?!), for balm tissues, for clean water, for a quiet day.

DS3 and his Beloved went off to convention (borrowed £30 in £ coins off me as he could not find his) so I've had a lovely quiet day pottering (a lot of it in their/Beloved's room).

Washed my mask, hose and fixing straps (will do the filter change this week as well), dishwasher going, two lots of wet washing sorted and 3 loads done since. Washing on radiators (they will switch them on sometime), the airer, over garden chairs and doors and even in the tumble drier - it's so long since I used it I had to think about which buttons I needed to press.

Results so far : one black bin bag full of rubbish, one carrier full of normal carrier bags (will take to the YMCA), one bag of takeaway carriers (use for rubbish collection), about 2 sacks full of paper and cardboard recycling, on my second bag of pots and lost cutlery and second bag of cans and bottles.

Found 3 towels (there is another in there but I already knew about that one), lots of clean clothes (earlier in the year I was bagging their clean clothes and bedding and dumping them in their room rather than have them all over my front room - obviously some of these never got taken out of the bags), 2 brand new pairs of DS3 underpants (3 of the old most disgusting ones binned), his six new tshirts have arrived so 3 of the old ones have been cut up for rags, found two pillowcases and a sheet that were supposed to go to the cs, 3 of my pillowcases (hooray), hung up as many clean clothes as I had hangers for (more empty hangers in the farthest wardrobe and on the hanging rails but will sort those tomorrow) and several square metres of clear floor space.

Also opened the front room curtains and the back door to let fresh air blast through. All pillows and quilts heaped on their bed and sprayed with oust - I would have put them on the line in previous years but arthritis in my right shoulder has stopped me using the line.

They have come home, returned my coins (DS3 had already packed his which was why he couldn't find them) and paid me a week's rent money from their takings, so hoping they do as well tomorrow.

Food from the fridge but have spent money (a want not a need) on diet coke and jelly babies - decided I needed the caffeine in order to keep going and wanted something sweet that I haven't had recently. Really enjoyed the jelly babies.

Today I am grateful for getting things done, for getting things out of the house, for discovering 'lost' items.

Mothernerd - glad you're not using the washing line. I recall it kept breaking on you and dropping all the clean washing on the ground... Sounds like you had a really really really useful and productive day. Hope you're not paying for it with aches and pains today.

15 NSD 2 However, I am within budgets, so not overly bothered by my lack of NSDs

Avoid every chain coffee shop etc. Support local shops and traders.- nothing yesterday.

Remove 60 items from your house - Gotta love DS3 :D - we cleared out another 45 :T items from his room (counting piles of drawings as 1 item etc, so we did well) - mostly recycled/ donated but a few small broken things ended up in the bin and we've put one items aside for selling (still have the box so am hoping it will go in run up to Xmas). 207/60

Use up your toiletries and household cleaners before buying any more. - 'Shopped' from the garage - brought in spares of HM laundry gloop, toilet bleach, kitchen scrubby thing and bathroom/ kitchen cleaning stuff. Also finished a bottle of my s'poo, but I have a spare in the bathroom c-o-d

Go on 2 outings - 1 done so far

Donate £5 or time to charity - lots of 'things' donated to various places. Money donated to poppy appeal & Gloucester Cathedral. Have some things ready to send with DS2 to school for food bank as they are running a collection at the end of this month

Come on here every day and post 3 things you are grateful for. - Yesterday - Mr G00gle for helping OH and I with a problem at my nan's house, watching the local firework display from our house (warm & dry!), DS3 being up for more sorting out of things

Start 1 or 2 new habits this month, ones that are simple and will make you feel better - fewer cups of tea and min 4 f&v per day - Think I just scraped in with 4 f&v yesterday. Probably had more tea due to a combination of it being a w/e and OH around

Plans today - OH and DS2 off to shooting range shortly. I need to do some ironing (mountain) and the usual stuff. No spends anticipated - but OH does tend to pop into Tesc0 on way home from shooting.... sigh....

Sunny day here - still cold, but bright and dry :T

NSDs - 6/15. - Another day in, playing board games and generally not spending money! :D

Lunch to work - Home-made chicken and chorizo stew and rice sent in with hubby.

Items removed - 11/60 - I need to up my game with this otherwise I'm not going to make my target.

Outings - 1/2 - next one planned for the 17/11.

Daily fresh air - Not sure if I'll be getting out today. It is sunny at the moment but no reason to leave the house and if I do I'll have to take children with me and I'll end up ruining an NSD lol.

New habits - Off to go and do my routines now and then having a day of fun and nice things with the kids. Loving life :D

A bit creaky but have done a 'first pass' - window open and lights and fan switched off in their room, lights off in the bathroom and front room, curtains open, central heating switched off but nearly dry stuff put on the radiators to use the residual heat, wet washing outside on the chairs, water butt, buddleii and wooden partition part of the back fence (when the bins have finished drying the quilts and pillows will go on ther and get another spray of oust and lots of fresh air), another load in the washing machine.

Stopped for a five minute sit down and next door neighbour asked if I was all right (coughing fit). Back inside to empty the dishwasher but had to stop as I started going dizzy. Back on the bed with a tin of pineapples (fruit ration for today) and planning an easy lunch (Beloved asked for cauli cheese in a bag?!!) nad my next foray. Found 3 good pens under the sofa cushions.
