Budget: Have had to pay the deposit for our work Xmas party last night, and earlier than expected, which has meant this morning I’ve reworked my budget to make sure everything was covered. Everything looks okay but will be tight come the end of the month. Really need to focus on those NSD’s. With today I will be on 3/15
take your lunch to work every single working day: not in work the next couple of days, but working the weekend when the staff cafe is closed so have no choice! Will take some already prepped meals out of the freezer.
remove 60 items from your house (2 per day): 18/60 - I’m quite bad for keeping cardboard boxes “just incase” and never use them for anything. This morning I’ve recycled 2 large boxes for items bought in the past year that I definitely no longer need to store.
use up your toiletries and household: going strong!
go on 2 outings: Going to see my folks for the night. Today will be the first one I count because it WILL cost me money, just not from November’s budget (already accounted for).
tread lightly on our planet and get out there and enjoy fresh air every day: I will be walking to the train station before travelling
grateful for: Caring friends; having roof over my head; and without sounding too corny - I’m super grateful to the 2018 version of myself, for identifying my anxiety and putting things in place to tackle it - I would not have been able to attend the bonfire party last night had it not been for her.
1 or 2 new habits: No fizzy drinks! I find it a much bigger struggle whilst at work, (it’s the only place I drink the stuff) but pleased that with today I will have gone 6/30 without it.Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)

Have had a productive morning today, have done some cleaning, made pizza dough, I divide the dough into four pieces then freeze them individually so I can just get one out and defrost it in the fridge, have walked the dog and was just about to go out cycling but it is raining now. I will se what happens in the next half an hour.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Happy hump day.:j
Yesterday spend day, brilliant full body massage lasted well over an hour, included face and head. Should have said no to oil in my hair, looks tad greasy today lol. £25 and seeing as she had travelled a fair way gave her £5 tip. I can move lot more freely today, thinking of maybe having one every 6 weeks?
Today NSD. Walk at lunchtime, near beach up to 6,500 steps already.:T
Homemade butternut squash soup for lunch, with some naughty left over trick or treat chocolates oops:o
Film night in daughters later so no spending.
Grateful for
A good nights sleep
Fresh air.
Dry weather, bit warm for my ultra thick coat I had on:oLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Removing 60 items: 2 rolling pins bought for a project and never used, a pair of shoes I used to be able to wear with a dress and that hurt like crazy now, 2 skirts that are just too old fashioned to feel nice wearing. 5/60, I'm pleased with that as a start!
Gratitudes: I finally had an hour today working on the garden. Some of the brambles are very long, and I'm not grateful for that, but I *am* grateful that my soil is so fertileAnd glad to speak with a neighbour again after me being away and him being ill.

Still on NSD No 4
The Boy needed a letter posting and as there is no Post Office near to where he works I said I would take it to our local one. Tried to phone to check when and if they were open (a bit hit and miss) but couldn't find a phone number anywhere. Anyway, they were when I got there so one job done.
Whilst I was out and paying for he postage I thought I might as well buy a roast beef joint for the weekend. Also hoped that I could go to HB and get some sweets/chocolate but he gallantly decided to accompany me there and back before meeting his friend so that was that idea scuppered.
Took the items to the charity shop and I've disposed of another couple of plants that are at the end of their natural span. Also sneaked out some containers that Himself decided we needed, We don't.
So I've spent the afternoon watching a couple of my favourite films and wrapping presents. So quite a productive day.
I keep forgetting my graditudes but, honestly, I'm just grateful for my friends, family and being content with my life (even if things do go wrong sometimes). I am very, very lucky.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

15 NSD 2
Avoid every chain coffee shop etc. Support local shops and traders.- nothing today
Remove 60 items from your house - just 3 more today - 1 recycled (pile of really beat up packaging items from stash (much reduced after recent flebaying), 1 binned (a bag which OH bought and it broke within 2 days so he got a refund (it's not repairable), 1 to CS) 144/60
Use up your toiletries and household cleaners before buying any more. - OH now has bargain Xmas themed s/gel to use which I bought for pence in Feb
Go on 2 outings - 1 done so far
Donate £5 or time to charity - lots of 'things' donated to various places. Money donated to poppy appeal and Gloucester Cathedral. Will likely still send some things to school with DS2 for food bank as they are running a collection this month
Come on here every day and post 3 things you are grateful for. - managing to gloss the kitchen door and it look ok! (only been in a primed but not glossed state for 10.5 years....:o:o:o) with gloss from the garage (there was some usable paint left under a VERY thick layer of solid gloss!), being in a 'get-it-done' mood - usually means my MH is good, OH being home early enough from London to collect DS2, saving DS3 and myself a 1.25-1.5hr round long trip in the rain :j, 'freebies' from his hotel (tea/ coffee/ biscuits, bottled water and toiletries), getting lots of paperwork uploaded to the conveyancers dealing with my Nan's house - another job ticked off, getting the VAT return done
Start 1 or 2 new habits this month, ones that are simple and will make you feel better - fewer cups of tea and min 4 f&v per day - tea ok today. So I guess it's time for an update:
Budget: Apple Muncher: I have a soa and a DMP Budget that should work fine. I just have 2 challenges this month - Because it is for my DMP it does not include family visits abroad, DS training camp and keeping my dog and car running. Also £400 of my income every month is casual cover teaching work, so I don't know my income until the end of the month. And this month my EF is depleted so it's back to square 1. So far I have paid all bills this month and still have money to eat - so will start to refill EF later in the month, and to top up my budget account for bills coming in next month.
Pay to Debts/Savings first
DMP paid, not savings.
3/15 NSD'S so doing well on this one.
Avoid Coffee Shops I had 2 coffees last weekend, but not in chains and this will not happen again for a while.
Lunch to Work : Always.
Remove 60 Items - Not started this one, as was busy last weekend.
Use up Toiletries and Condiments Actually I am trying to stock up until end January at the moment.
Daily Fresh Air - didn't do too well yesterday, will be out running tonight.
Donate £5 - will be volunteering later in month.
Daily Gratitude - for cover work and for inspirational running club.
Help others - am paying extra attention to friend w health issues and sister who's childhood friend passed away last night.
New Habits -
1)get off computer and phone, have just faffed on computer for 2 hours, between work, money and forum. But have read some work documents, checked bank and budgets ... ticking over, and had a bt of a break after long day. Found a £100 deal on house insurance, to start in December, will buy this weekend. Checked energy deals but not running out till end of December.
2) pay attention to detail
have appealed parking ticket - because I forgot to scan receipt in Lid1 last week. Luckily still had receipt in paper bin. Drive carefully to not ruin more tyres.
Need to clean kitchen and run laundry after run.
That will have to do.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
