Hope everyone is okay - how is it only Tuesday? This seems like a long week already!! I think it's because I should be on annual leave, but had to swap it to the middle of November, so all I keep thinking is I should be off!

Dolly84 - I've just started running again, oh my word, I'd forgotten how hard it is, my legs are still aching from Sunday's run. Felt better for doing it though.

NSD - I'm on my 4th NSD - calling it in early as I then won't be tempted to shop......

Lunch to work - Usually managed this every day, got left overs from last nights tea today.

Avoid coffee shops - Not usually a problem to me during the week, a bit tougher at the weekend when I'm in town shopping though, am going to try a local coffee shop instead of a chain this week if I go into town

Donate - I volunteer at the winter night shelter at a local church from 1st December until the spring. Just waiting for my night to be allocated. I also buy the Big Issue chap in our local town either breakfast or lunch once or twice a month when I see him.

Use up cleaning and beauty stuff - Not doing too bad on this front, put all my half used beauty creams together to use up - not to be mixed up with the cream cleanser for the bathroom though!!

Grateful - Grateful for getting up and about early this morning and it not being a struggle, for being organised with my food prep, and for being mindful about my left overs.

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Afternoon all!
Thank you CCL, I am sat on't sofa with a hot L3msip and hot tea so it is more like:coffee::coffee:. Gentle tidying and washing up is my limit today, so I looked at the weather forecast this morning, through my brain fog, and it is rainy and horrid out tonight so I have cancelled. The kids are fine with it as long as it is raining. Bless!
I mean they get C-Mouse and Birthdays every year, do I really have to do bonfires too? :rotfl: I am ill. But I am warm and have plans for a nice supper, and a nice pudding, so I am 1950s housewife today. DS 3&4 can burrow under the curtains and watch from there with snacks.

Grateful for: hot water bottles, blackcurrant:jflavoured-paracetamol-based-hot-drinks. a hurricane glass candle holder with candle for £2.50 in the c/s yesterday.
Today will be NSD2. I would rather gnaw both my feet off than go into a shop feeling like this_pale__pale__pale_

Xspender:j:j:j Well done you. Single figures now.

Grateful for 3 things - virgin media £30+ credit, autumn leaves, warm boots

15 NSDS 1/15 - I’ve got two extra hours on my day if I don’t drive to shops.

    Remove 60 Items - 40/60

    Outings - not yet

Use up Toiletries and Condiments - going well, blended my own facial oil with some left in jar bits.

Budget - allow for Frozen2 but can do from credit from VirginMedia

Pay to Debts/Savings first - yes, done

Avoid Coffee Shops / vending - 4/60 I had developed a habit of buying a coffee from Aldi.

Lunch to Work - retired but will be taking packed lunch on days out

Tread lightly - making myself go in the garden first thing and last thing. Befriending the robin.

Donate - water aid and a pledge to wildlife trust

Reach out - paying dividends, the neighbour I gave the lyrics books to has given me two lovely goblets.

New Habit/ Things to do -
finding real living people not just recording ancient long gone ancestors on the family tree.
Knit a cardigan with the time gained by not shopping

Quick check in for me today.

Yesterday a NSD so total stands at 3/15

Today spending day. Got a physio after work as struggling with pains in my arms, something is trapping when I lie down so sleep has been hell last week. Ok its sort of medical but still money going out, so counting it and I bought some face cream.

Last night sat in spare room, decluttered drawers, wardrobe, all put in charity bags will have to count up items when I take them out of the house. Really pleased with decluttering as I found xmas wrapping paper, labels and a nearly new tshirt.

    Grateful for

Hopefully back pain will ease later after massage.

Planned another bday meal out this week, there was too many on offer week of my bday. We have vouchers for this pub so might be not too expensive. Outing No 1 this month. Looking forward to that and no driving.

Daughter asked me over for chick flick evening tomorrow.

I have made a store cupboard masterpiece with puff pastry, a block of marzipan and two tins of peaches.

    Still on NSD No 4

I was very bad and didn't have breakfast this morning. Got up too late. Smacked wrist!!!

Walked to Health Centre (suppose that's something) and put in repeat prescription. Thought I had more medication than I had. It'll be alright just but I'll really have to keep a close eye on that. Also caught up on some of the things I should have done yesterday - changed bedding, washing done and drying on airer and tomato soup in slow cooker.

Bought a couple of children's books for C presents at a good reduction in price and managed to avoid the many YS items in the shops because I couldn't shoe horn another thing into the freezers. The good news is that Himself has finally realised that we have too much food and he has to stop buying things.

Disposed of a dead plant and have an unworn, pretty top (just doesn't really suit me) and a barely used handbag that I was given and will never use to take to the charity shop tomorrow.

Just got a message from my cousin in Canada to say her father has had a fall, broken three vertabrae and is in hospital. He's 97 so it's worrying. Never rains.

Himself is out tomorrow so I'm hoping to get a good bit of cleaning done and also go get some bits for Himself's C presents - sweets mostly. Nothing expensive.

    Have a good evening.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
  • Still on 1/15 NSDs

My new habit is a minimum 30 minute daily walk. I have kept this up and today I walked 45 minutes. I wore my ordinary shoes so today I bought some trainers so my daily walk is more comfortable and I save my shoes.

Old pumps have been decluttered and left the house as has a coffee container that is a collectible but on reflection I don't actually like it. I hope someone else does.

I was tempted by a coffee chain coffee but avoided it.
I was tempted by new shower gel but did not buy it as I haven't used up the old one.

Grateful for a good work appointment, finding 'good enough' trainers so I can take advantage of some free exercise classes and finding a different brand of almond milk that does not have additives

Wishing you all a positive evening :)

    f0xh0les - get well soon.

My apple crumble turned into 3 rather large crumbles, 2 in the freezer, 1 eaten and a spare portion in the fridge for tomorrow.

Three things I’m grateful for:!recognition for my input on a project at work; That it didn’t rain on the way home from work; wooly jumpers

habits:!No Fizzy drinks is going well, I am now on day 5/30 :)
