  • I've got 243 miles of petrol left and 75 quid petrol money. This needs to last 27 days. I drive for work and when at work but not mega miles and otherwise we cant go anywhere except local park so I stand a good chance of saving some for food shop.

  • So 2021 is proving to be eventful as expected. Budget ripped up, pointless having one till I know what's Happening
Homeschool day one done -of a fashion.
We both have too go to work as keyworkers so we have applied for school places and should hear wed night/thurs am.  Taking turns at unpaid leave untill as like most of the country we have run out of everything else.  I do hope they have called this lockdown in time and not left it to late.  Why oh why all those children and parents in the playground were allowed to mix for one day for it then to close is beyond me but these are the cards we have  been dealt.
Stay safe everyone as much as you can x

You need to do what's best for you and if that is focusing on surviving this lockdown then so be it.

  • Thankyou. Yep its staying watertight through this lockdown and not getting ill that's the main focus. Although the suggestion than 1 in 50 are covid positive didnt reassure me on that. I can see that many people in a day at work let alone how many dh and the kids will see and then there are the random visits to supermarket shops. Trick is to stand apart I guess.
Should maybe consider losing the podge I put in in lockdown 1 but am motivated but not yet in action mode for that task. Hee hee

It's hard isn't it. You can try and avoid people but it doesn't always happen. People just aren't staying 2 metres apart anymore

It's so difficult isn't it.  Just staying safe is the most we can do at the moment!
