  • I got a negative to. Got the result late last night and we were all back at work and school today. Im in bother with the boss though for not speaking to her directly when I was off. Shes mad apparently. I get her point but she works in a different place to me and was in and out of meetings pretty much all day by the looks of her diary. I rang twice and she wasnt available and i also rang 3 times yesterday to keep everyone updated with what was happening. (she was on leave so I emailed her instead- twice to inform her of each result-dont expect her to reply as she is off but I didnt just go AWOL. I did try

That's a relief about the test.  Shame about your boss, it's difficult to have a discussion with someone who's hardly available!

  • Thankyou. In all fairness I think she is a reasonable boss though I never seen that side yet lol. I've been a boss and I can see it from her "hat" it's just bloody annoying as I haven't got all day to keep ringing when I've got tests to sort. I was negative but really am peeved now and feel like covid is following me round like a bad smell as I was in contact with someone at work yesterday who has just tested positive. I had lots of kit on so I'm fine but it just wont bloody go away. Love and best wishes to all who are suffering and worried at the moment and I will try to cheer up and stop blathering on about it xx

Blather away if it helps!  It's a very worrying time for everyone, and fingers crossed it all calms down soon.

  • Thankyou. We are all tired of it now arnt we. Off today and it's not a school day so having a bath later to relax and pricing up curtains rails as our bedroom curtains are nailed in and perm shut. Target is to have curtains that open and shut by spring. The bay doesnt hold screws well so it wint be as easy as it sounds to fit the rail but worth a try. We gave up last ime hence the nails.

  • Well it's been a lovely half term. Endless YouTube tripe and some walks in the park so cant complain.
We have had a success we now have curtains up that open and close. Such a small thing but a massive boost. We had a few attempts and have a few holes where the bay wouldn't hold the rail  but it's worth it.

  • Money wise I have a bit in each account and aside from cash flow issues caused by c benefit etc being at the end of my pay month I think I'm getting back on track. Ive written a meal.planner and we should have enough in till then aside from maybe bread and milk. Payday again next friday so I will try and be more organized and set up my standing orders and things to pay a bit in savings.

  • Still plodding on. Tilly tallying each day and a budget planned for this month. Accounts all in the plus and debt staying similar as only making token payments at the moment. Work mega busy  but everyones mood seems to be lifting a bit -Much easier now it's staying light longer. I've been trying to do 10000 steps a day and some exercise. Weighed myself and found I was borderline overweight/obese. And my work pants have been too tight for a while. Aiming to loose a bit so my pants fit better then after that to get back in the normal bmi category
