Morning to all. Today I will:
* check bank and update spreadsheet in anticipation of payday on Thursday. Going to try a new way of budgeting and stop the little daily spends on my card and withdraw an amount of cash each week for shopping/fuel etc
* charge phone at work
* finish off my craft items to list for sale
* lunch from home, tea from whatever I can find at home
* spinning class tonight, included with gym membership so better make use of it
* washing on airer in spare room as it's way too cold for it to dry outside plus my rotary dryer keeps collapsing so need a new one but that can wait until the new year
Hubby is off today with the children and he is working on getting the base finished for our new summer house
Have a great day everyoneBaby daughter born Jan 10Baby son born June 110 -
Being nosey but what crocheted gifts are you making? I bought an A-Z of animal patterns so for the kids in my life (friends' LOs) I am making them the animal that starts with the letter of their name e.g. Wilfred the Whale, Ruby the Rabbit! Really enjoying it so far but hoping I don't run out of steam!
That's fab - I make blankets mostly. But sometimes hats, scarves etc. I can make toys but I have nobody to give them to really. I have loads on the go at the moment and really need to just finish something instead of always starting new stuff.Not giving up

Afternoon all
Welcome back from hols DNMS, but you probably aren't that pleased to be back to the rain!
Sorry to hear that you are struggling with your health again Ziggy
Shattered.com today for some reason - butI have got some things done:
Cleaned oven in advance of repair man who is supposed to be coming on Thursday (yucky job but I am glad it is done! And extra glad that it inspired OH to clean the outside of the stove and the hood :T)
Pegged out a load of washing and got it mostly dry - now on airer to finish off
Put opened bag of potting compost away in the garage to avoid it getting waterlogged. Put a couple of other things away - the garden is looking quite clear and tidy now
Posted ebay parcels
Sold another item
Took some new things to my sales unit and was pleased to see that a big item and a couple of smaller ones had sold :j
Stopped off at the town's miniscule and not very good market (slightly bigger towns round here have fab markets), bought a nice looking loaf of bread and a couple of £1 house plants to brighten the house up a bit, a pink kalanchoe (sp) and a potted purple chrysanthemum
Put the things I brought back from my sales unit away straight away instead of leaving them out :A
Need to do something for supper and make a picnic for tomorrow, as we have promised to take DD out. We will go to a local attraction to which we have membership (and can therefore take kids free). Only additional cost will be a bit of fuel and some picnic bits that GD will eat.0 -

Fill in the application for my postal vote - will definitely be away from home so absolutely essential
Fill big bowls with sweets for trick or treaters tomorrow - a lot of children around here
Usual tidy, etc.

Morning all!
Today I have/will:
* Check banks
* Use up "old" shower gel (i.e. the end of the bottle which OH chooses to ignore!)
* Let hair dry naturally as much as time will allow
* Not do a load of washing - it can wait until tomorrow when a few more bits are added
* Check OP/PA
* Read MSE email for inspiration
* Cancel gym class (although it's free anyway!)
* Finalise budget ready for payday tomorrow
* Charge phone in work
Hmm, seems like a short list today, so must think of other things I can do!
Out for dinner tonight with friends, but I'll be driving anyway so shouldn't spend too much.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Hello :wave:
Well I had a fairly productive day yesterday considering I didn't feel much like doing anything. I did a load of crochet, fed me and the kids from stores and also sorted out a couple of Christmas bits.
Only got dressed long enough to pop round and feed my sister's cat while she's on holiday.
So far today, I've woken up with another cold - less than a week after I got rid of the last one. Sat on my bum and crocheted, done a load of washing, watched a bit of telly, popped round and fed my sister's cat and now am waiting for a broadband engineer to come. I've had an intermittent fault for almost a year, and they've never been able to see a reason for it but apparently they are sending a specialist engineer out to look at it. He is supposed to be here between 8am and 1pm but I'm still waiting. Currently on hold trying to get an eta but I suppose the rest of the days plans really depend on what happens next in terms of an engineer.
DNMS - hang in there, those post holiday blues will certainly pass.
Ziggy - hope that you're feeling ok.Not giving up
