    OK i should read more throughly ! not half asleep at 3am most the time and missing stuff !

    are you saying that 4 days after taking my new contracts out Orange changed my T&C/charging structure on 079730 078225 079785 07873 prefixes ? Can they do that ? I thought I could use them since they removed my 07744/07755 prefixes ( & I fought them with that to be given a awesome retention deal rather than leave 6 months early ) I had no notification on Oct/Nov/Dec bill about these new changes or I would never have taken an additional 2 handsets on my account a couple of days before the change - I'm raging !
    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    Whats your bill date??
    as It wasn't just the nov bills it's between the 19th oct to the 19th nov. so it can either be ur oct or nov! so the message maybe on your oct bill.

    Orange sent the message to ALL cust. if its not on there fax through the front page to a csr

    my bills are not bills - 2 page statement/invoice of amount due & inclusive mins etc..., my full bills are only available to me on Orange's website from " your account " to view or download

    niether had it.........is the issue of people not having this because you do not get a FULL bill in the mail ? to avoid the charge for a full bill you download it direct & its missing off both

    thats a massive oversight on Orange's behalf, many millions surely were not notified of such a change, just by choosing to save a few quid by downloading & save the enviroment

    Orange class downloaded bills as " Duplicate Statement " on them, which miss all the artwork/logo's/important information off them

    highly questionable in the first place:-

    1) download states its a duplicate statement - its your ONLY full itemised bill, a duplicate is something Orange have provided to you by other means than a downloadable PDF

    2) customers recieve an invoice charge/advice as a SUMMARY ONLY not a NOT full itemised statement through the mail

    miss libbit, thats all very well if you have the INVOICE/STATEMENT available, my contract is my sisters usage - I open the thing READ it & pass it on for her to pay/give me the cash to pay via my card

    I KNOW there was nothing stating such on the invoice, I'd have never have taken 2 more contracts a couple of days before the change, it will only affect one of them so I only wish to cancel that one

    I did have a missing bill - think that was Sep, Orange refused to resent free of charge advising me to get FULL bill from " your account ", but thats too early anyhow

    Dec bill says nowt I've got that in front of me as I paid that one for sis as it was christmas month & she'd have enough on her plate

    my business plan connected on 1 Dec with a full BILL says nothing either on the first bill of 22nd Dec of these changes

    Just noticed this on the web and thought I'd add my comments.

    I used the 079785 number a few times to test whether they were part of the inclusive minutes or not back in October. When I downloaded my bill via the Orange site, it showed the calls as being part of the inclusive minutes. This being the case, I used the number more regularly in November.

    I came back from a trip abroad to find my December bill nearly three times what I normally pay at about 98 pounds. When I checked the itemised bill it showed the same number now being charged for.

    Contacted Orange and they told me that they started charging for these number(s) from the middle of December and that all customers had been notified about this on thier bill.

    Sadly, I dont have the November bill to hand but I am adamant that I never saw anything stating that. Besides the bill is just a one page summary of my account and I would have remembered seeing any changes to the call charges had there been any.

    I, too, would be keen to see anyone else who has had this notification on thier bill. My billing date is 5th of each month and didnt see it either on the September or October bill.

    I intend on writing to Orange to voice my dissatisfaction at such blatant abuse of power.
  • It would have been on your nov bill if your bill date is the 5th. i saw the message on my boyfriends bill and he doesn't even use thos numbers.

    I received the information on page 2 my Oct bill,(Normally only 2 pages but 3 this month)as it included a letter about 'Introducing Best Plan'.Its headed"A small change to call charges.I must admit I didn't see it but then don't use these numbers anyway.Also I think its 30 days from when you were notified ,not from 15th Dec.

    I never had the " introducing best plan " in my invoice ?, I read everything, its kind of a cop out anyway with Orange - 3 & T-Mobile both sent me seperate from-my-bill letters telling me about changes in the past & duly I cancelled my services with them as it did affect me, Orange done this with the 07744/07755 issue & customers were not made aware - any change to a T&C must be notified to the customer not "slipped" in here or there anyway

  • Hi Guys, I came to about orange charging for 078795 numbers from this thread only 3 days back. I get my bill printed on 15th of every month. I checked all my bills and i wasnt charged for this number in the month of october and november.

    I called up orange customer service to find out how much i was charged till date and they said 181 £ from dec 15th till date. I told them that they should have notified me about these number been charged from dec 15th and they said they did in the month of october. I checked my bills and couldnt see that any where written on my bill. They say that it was an enclosed paper along with the bill they sent me. I am not sure whether they are telling the truth or not but my past 6 months bills doesnt have any information as such.

    Request, can anyone who got the information tell me whether it was on the bill itself or on separate sheet. Can you please send me a scanned pic so that i can claim my money back. Plssssssssssssssssssssssssssss....
