Orange to exclude some 0207/0121/0141/0151 & 0113 nos from bundle mins

    sounds odd, arent they geographical numbers. Is there a proper source to this info?

  • I expect that they are ranges of numbers that are used for international calling cards; giving cheaper international calls.

    They used to do this for things like telco (I'm going back a few years here!) Orange and the other networks would find out the numbers that were being used to foward calls on and then start charging extra to access them...

    One of those things I'm afraid!

    yeh there used on the unlimited landline calling ....so if orange take them off it will benefit them

  • Yep those became chargeable 15/12. Those are call forwarding numbers.

    A poster in the Nifty List thread says he got a text from them.

    "Hello from Orange... All access number/calling abroad/calling card/call forwarding will be charged on the Orange network regardless of the initial prefix"

    does this mean we can cancel our contracts??? I did not know about this and only took out a contract on the 11/11
  • I'll believe it when I get a text - and then check the actual out from the usual nonsense.
