However now when I try to apply for an account to switch to the only options it is giving me are Classic, Platinum or Student. I also have a joint Club Lloyds account, don't know if that matters?
I had the same issue. You have to apply without logging in, then it will work.

...when you apply without logging in, you'll have to register to online banking again but don't bother with it, the new account will appear in the old online banking after a few days.

Same here, no button to submit on the switch screen. Tried a 2nd time but said i gad already made an application in the last month. No email either to date. No idea if its been opened or not

Update, I messaged them on twitter and they advised me to phone them on 0800 085 9174. Did that, a very helpful guy had a look and somewhere along the line there was an error in my application, so he deleted it and told me to try again in 10 mins. Did that, all worked ok now, account opened, dormant RBS account switch started. Lloyds and RBS have both texted me. So it looks like £125 is winging it’s way .:j

I thimk the consensus it is takes overnight for your old club loyds account to drop off the system.
I almost didn't bother with this one, but had a change of heart this evening. Spoke with Lloyds on the phone and was told to downgrade and then re-apply straight away. I asked if my Club Lloyds Monthly Saver and the standard Monthly Saver would be affected and was told no. Advisor said he'd note my file to say that I'd been told this (not too much of a problem anyway as one matures next week and one the week after).

So, logged in, downgraded to Classic, logged out, logged back in again, applied for a new Club Lloyds, and initiated the switch which completes 15/10/19.

Ditto the above for my partner.

    £250 on the way. :)

As there may be time, does anyone fancy seeing if their systems are robust enough to rigidly apply condition 4 (1st sentence)?

It didn't for me - on completion of the application, without logging in, the webpage said I already had a Club account (I do, but it's joint) and to contact branch to proceed.

Which is an implicit acknowledgement that they know I can open one in my name only (otherwise why suggest I apply in branch to proceed?) but just not online as their systems won't allow it. Which also acknowledges that their systems are inadequate.

Annoying - but as others have succeeded by phone I may try that instead!

Thanks to the OP for this. Account opened 1/10/19 and £125 received 4/10/19.

And with a 2.5% reg saver and the ability to pay cheques in via the app I’ll be keeping this one open!

My Club LLoyds Account has a lot DDs mainly CC so I will keep this AC as my main account.

    Could this one work ?

    - downgrade my club lloyds AC to become Classic account.
    - Open a new Club Lloyds AC
    - Switch my tesco AC to club lloysd AC.
    - Once the inccentive is paid, I close this newly CL account
    - Upgrade my Classic AC to become a Clloyds again ?

Any opinion, suggestion will be very much appreciated.

Why close it? Plenty of donor accounts elsewhere maybe? If not then downgrade it to Classic instead.

Really? You got paid before the switch was completed?
