Just applied but at the end got a message to say they'll make a decision within 3 days. So no chance to enter switching details.0

When you switch - after 7 days - you will get 125 pounds - how long you have to keep that account after to keep that bonus?0

There is no provision in the terms for them to claw the money back so they can be presumed to not be able to do so. You could theoretically close it the day after and be done with it.
Personally I'd keep it open just so you can use the lifestyle benefits if you find any of them useful. Those get cancelled immediately when you close the account.urs sinserly,

Same here - but you just then need to fill in the switching form on the website and that does the needful.
I got the email saying my account was open early in the morning on the second working day after my application, and it included the sort code and account number. So far fairly happy, far better than the idiotic nightmare that Barclays was, but then as I say I've never had a particular issue with LBG.urs sinserly,

Managed to downgrade my Club Lloyds account to a Classic account (tried a different browser). However now when I try to apply for an account to switch to the only options it is giving me are Classic, Platinum or Student. I also have a joint Club Lloyds account, don't know if that matters?0

Have you waited 24 hrs?0
-
No, tried to do it straight away. Will try again tomorrow.0
-
I thimk the consensus it is takes overnight for your old club loyds account to drop off the system.0
-
OK Cheers

If you hold a joint Club Lloyd's then the system will not allow you to open a sole account. Even if you hold a Platinum Club account it won't allow you.
We tried this on Tuesday and didn't get anywhere and so I did a complaint (still awaiting to hear from them). Back in 2015 when we opened our original accounts it was possible to open a sole and a joint online but now you can only open your 1st one.
After reading the forum and finding out people have managed to open by phone, I contacted them today and a sole was opened.0
