    Morning everyone!

Glad to hear things are still going well molly41. Sounds like you have the balance just right.

(brambling this isn't a proper report) I woke up silly early this morning and did my midweek weigh in, and entered it into my app. I took my tablets, had a drink, and managed to get off to sleep again. When I woke up again I did my midweek weigh in, went to enter it on my app and saw I'd already done it (getting older!!). The point is in that 4 hours of extra sleep I lost half a pound. Isn't that strange.

    Todays food is;
Last of pork chops with roast parsnips and carrots, mange tous.
Last of stewed plums with hm yogurt.

Advance notice - cheese scone tomorrow. We call it the Scone and Groan. (I saw a map once. Someone had gone to the trouble of mapping the entire UK into whether they say 'sconn' or 'scoan'). I haven't told him I'm dieting yet, but I think I'll have to 'fess up, it's getting quite apparent now!!

I've not got much to today, which is pure lovely. :) I'll order a couple more Christmas presents while I have time to look. I'll listen to the radio and watch the wind for an hour or two. Maybe do a bit of planning, which has become more of a pleasure the older I get!

    Have a good day everyone.

Yesterday I gave in and had some office treats, and there will be cake tomorrow for sure.

Hopefully if I indulge tomorrow, I can burn baby burn, like I'm burning today with an extra walk this morning. I also have a gig tomorrow.

Yesterday's homemade bread was a different setting as I had plenty of time to make it. But I've learned, we like the 'rapid' setting much better.

    Today's plan:

    B: porridge
L: smoked salmon (tiny amount, the rest is paste) and cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches, carrot sticks, yoghurt.
D: Pasta salad, fruit loaf (I have a meeting to run to).
    S: jaffa cakes
    Keep reading books!
    July grocery challenge START: £150.
    total SPENT £127.53, REMAINING £22.37.
  • Not a great week so far food wise - oh dear!

We're off out for tea at Zizzi's tonight as we've some Tesco vouchers which needed using as near their end of date.
Tomorrow will be full on prep and setting up for the craft fair. Followed by, hopefully, some very tasty fish and chips for tea.
At the craft fair there is a craft but none of the stalls are food (all 230 of them!) so there shouldn't be too much temptation there.

Brambing - I sell sewn baby items including bibs and soft stuffed elephants. I also sell handmade Christmas cards created with fabrics, ribbon, felts, buttons etc. plus a few other bits and bobs.

At long last. TWO POUNDS OFF. :)

:j:T:T:j. I knew you would get your diet mojo back :)

S_glover I hope it's an indoors craft fair  I envy your talent I enjoy crafty things but I'm not great at it

Tighteningthebelt I know we're always lighter in the morning, that four hours must have pushed you to the best time to weigh ;)

My trip to the opticians unfortunately meant the dreaded drops, it seems I have a new floater to add to the rest, this one is a large, donut shape clear one which has torn off the back of my eye near the optic nerve which it seems is why it is clear. Luckily it didn't tear the retina when it tore off but it's a case of learning to live with it, currently it's very annoying even more so than the black thread shape ones I have

    B -
    L- boiled eggs & crackers
D - pulled duck hoisin sauce in a pita. Read - remember why I don't usually eat ready meals but as my eyes are still blurry and it was YS it was worth a try for 50p
S - pack of cheese an onion crisp and biscuits - the perils of working from home

Hi all, I have been starting work an hour earlier this week and still been walking to work and back (apart from today due to seriously heavy rain). I have been eating yogurt, fruit and nuts for breakfast, and soup, bread, yogurt and fruit for lunch- I have now run out of homemade soup so have pre baked 3 potatoes in the oven for today's, tommorow and Saturday's lunch to serve with hummus, grated carrot, red pepper and sweetcorn as we'll as fruit and yogurt.
It's my day off tommorow and weather permitting I plan a long walk to a supermarket to purchase veg and beans and rice for more soup and a slow cooker veggie chilli for next week's lunches.

As I said before I don't own a set of scales, so don't know what my current weight, but my husband did say tonight that he had noticed I was looking a lot thinner, (he did not like to mention it earlier as he thought I would be offended he thought I was fat!!)

Resting heart rate dropped by 3 beats per min this week, I usually do bp after getting up and begore leaving the house - but have not had time this week due to leaving early. I hope bp is bucking the same trend - tomorrow will tell!
