Blue Doggy blood test was just my annual one for my underactive thyroid to check my tablet dosage is correct
All this clothes and sorting talk made me look in one of my drawers before getting dressed this morning and I found 3 pairs of jeans and two jeggings I had forgot about, one pair of jeans didn't fit and if they did I wouldn't wear them again, one pair will need a belt so I nearly missed the opportunity to wear them and both jeggings fit and make my legs look good. I must look under the bed to ensure I don't miss anything else, but I think it's my smallest sizes under there
My Saturday to work today, I can do it from home but have to keep an eye out for when I'm needed so can't wander to far from the laptop. I worked from 12-2 and then 5-7 which is good, if it doesn't go smoothly it can go on until midnight. So this morning I sorted the fridge and cooked up a lot of the fruit and veg. I made a big batch of vegetable and bean soup with a little bacon some for the freezer and the rest for lunches as well as cooking plums, apples, blackberries and red currants for my porridge topping and chopping up a pineapple and prepping veg for tonight
B - banana
L - cold breaded chicken thigh followed by stewed fruit
D - stirfry beef and vegetables - there was a lot of veg in it so no rice or noodles
S - 2 kiwi, apple - I also sampled the soup

Evening all.
It has been one of those days today. first I dropped the wet washing into the catlitter tray
Then as I was looking at the charity book case in tesco i noticed that the hardboard was coming away from the back of it.
Next thing, the entire back came off it and lots of books crashed down behind it with everyone staring.
Then after making a quite elaborate (for me) bean and vegetable type soup to last the whole week, I got the cooker rings muddled and burned it black.
However, foodwise everything went ok.
Oat bran.
Belly pork, sprouts, chips done without oil. (against my will. the deep fat fryer needs replacing. It was looking quite gruesome anyway, so at least i wont have to clean it.)

Honeythewitch your horrid day trumps mine by miles! I hope today and the coming week will be better. They say bad things come in threes, so you certainly used your full allowance yesterday.
Brambling what a great find (jeans & jeggings!). Your cooking day sounds good.
Weighing in: well, I’ve stayed the same as last week, which considering the excesses of the past week is better than expected.
Today:
B: porridge with raspberriestomato salad; chicken, fennel & mushroom casserole (HM ready meal from freezer), carrots and courgette; stewed rhubarb & ginger with yogurt
T: apple & yogurt
Wishing everyone a good week.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hello x
Been following your progress with interest x
Went shopping yesterday with hubby - first time in years so I must be feeling better. I scooted around on my scooter and had a good mooch. I selected healthy food though could have gone mad only exception was mince pies - yummy.
Im planning to build up my time on the recumbent exercise bike so upping my activity and stamina - need to as we are expecting a new puppy in the New Year and she will keep me on my toes:T
Keep plodding on xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

BlueDoggy, the yarn is lovely, I am very pleased with it had have been crocheting away since I bought it.:j
How kind for the hardware shop to gift you the pansies as well and I am glad it is now adorning the grave of your mum's friend.
Well done on the STS, better than a gain! :T
Nice find, Brambling, I found some jeggings, too, but I haven't tried them on yet - I am crossing my fingers they fit (although I am very short, so they will need taking up).
Gosh, Honeythewitch, what a day you had yesterday! I hope today is better.
Well done on your outing, Molly41 - and how exciting about the puppy in the NY - I look forward to reading all about it when it arrives.
Congratulations, Tighteningthebelt, your belt is going to need new holes punched again in it soon, at this rate! :T
I had a lovely evening out last night and managed to not overeat, despite lots of tasty snacks very close to hand. Today is a fasting day, so I am trying to keep busy until teatime. Am off out for a good walk shortly, now the rain has eased up.:)31.5/1000 -
