I personally wouldn't touch them with a bargepole,my wife signed up with them in january this year without me knowing,i explained we couldn't afford it(£15 a month back then)but when i rang to cancel within the week i was told there was no getting out of the contract,no cooling off period,no get out clause whatsoever.Basically we've been saddled with it for a year,i even asked to be down graded to the £9.99 a month when they started advertising that but no...NO CAN DO,needless to say i've now cancelled with them after spending nearly an hour on the phone with them offering all sorts of deals to stay.I've told them to go to hell,i'm sorry but i honestly can't say a good word about them!!

  • Ordered on the 24th of Nov or something like that.

Called today to cancel. Phoned a number I found on a forum, went through the push 1 and psh 2 etc.. then got told all lines were busy and to try again later! I tried this number a couple of times over the next 30 mins but got the same response.

Googled Sentata cancellations and foudn a different number. Got through first time to customer servies who put me in a queue to cancel. Took about 20 mins for them to answer but am now cancelled.

Will cancel the DD also when I get home from work.
  • Got through on 0870 050 6950 then got put through to customer loyalty team...
Would have cancelled no problem, then offered £5 a month for 3 months

    I took it :j

just tried to cancel..... I signed up on 4th December... No golf to see, so want to cancel.

Setanta refuses to cancel before 4th january...... and wants 30 days notice of cancelation.

Seems you are correct in saying that they are cr*p to deal with.

No option left but to call back on 4th January

Oopsie at the end of the day you are giving them notice within the 30 days stick to your guns if you are not happy. Put the onus on them not the other way around.

After trying the 0871 number a few times and not getting through, I just phoned the 0191 no from one of the previous posts to cancel. The guy did ask where I got the number from, told him 'from a friend' he cancelled it no prob after offering me the £5 for 3 mths deal but I declined cos hubby seems to have been working every time his team was on but I'm glad it only cost us £1 to realise this rather than a whole years subscription.

  • Finally got thru on the 0871 number as the 0191 was busy for me but then had to spend the next 15 minutes on/off hold going thru the various depts but eventually cancelled without any further problems. Was also offered the £5 for 3 months but declined.
