hi. I have received a county court claim form from Northampton.

So what have you been doing for the past 10 months? The letter is suggesting that you filed a defence but haven't followed that up with a Witness Statement and Evidence. Did you receive those orders dated 4th January and 20th July?
What date is on that order? You say you received it today, but what date is on it? You have 7 days from that date to prepare (and file with both the court and the Claimant) a WS with evidence in support of your defence. If the date of that really is the 11th August then you appear to be stuffed - why have you received it so late?2 -
Hi. He date on the letter is 9th September. I did file a defence. I got a letter back ages ago saying something along the lines of the judge was dissmissing the case due to the company not following procedure. I did give my number online. I’m not quite sure what I should do now. I’m not the most intelligent person. When it comes to these sort of things.0

I already told you what to do, please read my reply.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Along the lines of or ACTUALLY dismissing the case? If you have that letter and can also prove to the court that you did supply your telephone number, you should be fine, else, as others have suggested, you are more stuffed than a Christmas turkey.Ballistic87 said:Hi. Is it the same procedure of submitting it online? If so can I also submit pictures on that portal?Coupon-mad said:You have breached two court orders and not bothered to give the court your phone number, but luckily the court is giving you a lifeline in requiring your WS & evidence in time, NOW. This is the easy stage, you can copy and adapt a WS from my ones in the threads by @blancswann or @painbl as long as you remove stuff not applicable (e.g. don't leave in stuff denying you were the driver, if you were, of course).
This is a simple stage and you nearly lost by default here, by not doing what the court letters told you to do.

The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms. Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.
You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.

You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.
And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.
Please be heard. You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting. No apologies for repeating this vital 'call for action' to consumers, on every thread this month!

Which portal ? Not the CCBC
If you nominated your local court , then surely it is your local court dealing with it ?
It says Birmingham court on your letter , did you miss it ?
What does their website tell you to do ??
Witness statements and exhibits are emailed at the moment , not uploaded to any Portal
The CCBC in Northampton has not been involved for many months !!1 -
The claimant also hadn't provided a number for the hearing. If the OP had done as he was told the case could have been thrown out by now, is that right?1

Hi. The letter doesn’t tell me how to submit my evidence?Redx said:Which portal ? Not the CCBC

I can see all these emails on the Birmingham website .
Any idea which one I shoulda use?
Also a little off topic, I popped back down to the business today abd informed them about this, as last time spoke with them they said they would get it sorted. Whichever they obviously didn’t. Anyway they took some picture and said they would try again, I’m wondering If it’s too late for them to do anything now?0 -
