Downstairs housework done this morning, and yesterday's washing mostly folded and out away, while OH went to put up a blind for DD2. Lamb joint has just gone into the oven for dinner. Need to round up some veg from the garden to go with it.
Other things:
Take photos of tent damage as this didn't happen yesterday. The firm I identified also uses a courier Foxgloves, not sure if it is the same one. The damage is at the bottom where a pin goes into the pole. The bit where the pin is attached has ripped and the fabric is ripped a bit alongside a seam, so even though it is not a large area, it isn't a simple patch unfortunately.
In other news, my laptop is playing up and is going to be fixed tomorrow, so that is another expense I could have done without
I am using OH's very annoying tablet at the moment.
Must try to pick out some items to take to my sales unit tomorrow - looks like being a spendy week coming up, so some extra money would come in handy!0 -
Hi here's what I managed this weekend:
Yesterday walked into town for free eye exam
And nice friend bought us coffee and cake :coffee:
Got stationary in town will probably last ds most of term
Walked back
Did quite a lot of tidying in the garden - mostly for therapeutic reasons
Didn't really cook dinner
Spent all evening tidying up
Today finally back on a long run
Saw weirdish painting exhibition :undecided
About to cook a crumble and dinner
1 hour blast job research
1 hour blast prep for tomorrow
Vacuum living room and dining room
Thanks for all well wishes, feeling better but not really focussed
Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%
Weight loose 8.6 kg - while having fun. 0/8.6 0%

Evening all

Thanks for starting us off PF
Spendy day today as I had to get my laptop fixed
I have been fiddling with it since, as he had to reinstall Windows, and I therefore had to reinstate all my software, settings etc. Still not finished, but had enough for one day!
Also had to do some food shopping, buy fuel and pay the milk bill
Hoping to avoid spending tomorrow!
Other things:
HG fruit for breakfast
Popped in to look at sales unit, must sort some items to take in there later in the week
Still haven't taken photos of damage to tent
Picked last of outdoor tomatoes and cucumbers, disposed of tomato plants in bin to avoid potential for nasty spores etc in compost
Played with baby GS (and fed him raspberries) to give his Mum a rest. He was in a good mood today
Used last of 'old' bread to make beans on toast for everyone for lunch
Used up salad bits in fridge with dinner
Not a very productive or moneysaving day unfortunately, though I guess getting the computer fixed was loads cheaper than buying a new one would have been!0 -
