Am feeling frazzled and out of sorts, as yesterday seemed like a genuinely pointless day. Went back to bed this morning.Tired and headache. Am thinking about calling in sick for the rest of the week, as I need to straighten out my head/motivation/nerves.
Got the time for dentist appointment wrong, so didn't spend any money after all.
Really need to apply for some full time jobs, am just pulling a blank in terms of what to look for.
Tell me off if I should just put these thoughts on my diary, I don't want to be a nuisance.
What I did do today:
Drink tea w friend
Take ds to dentist (except at the wrong time)
Walk dog
Yet to
- skip club run on track
- sign rental contract
- fold laundry
- water garden
Spend evening working on website

Ditty1234 - hope you’re feeling a bit better soon. Do whatever you need to do - health always comes first!
Going to keep this brief as I’m now saving all the waffle for my diary (lucky for everyone here! :rotfl:). Today I have:
1. Made a crumble with homegrown apples, raspberries and blackberries. Enough for two days and very yummy!
2. Wrapped presents for DD1’s friend with wrapping paper that I’d salvaged from presents given to us. I’m aware this makes me look cheap in front of friends and family when I’m carefully opening presents to save the paper, but I think it’s just good sense and a bonus to the environment
3. Made all meals from stores.
4. Checked survey sites x3, PMP etc.
5. Discovered DH’s secret spending habit and will be reprimanding him shortly! :rotfl:
6. Still need to make a cake to take to work tomorrow. Had thought of just buying one, but I have all the ingredients to make a Victoria sponge so just need to get my butt into gear!
Have a good evening everyone!
Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship.

Morning all,
Apart from maybe buying a drink at tonight's comedy gig, I'm not planning to spend any money. Frugal bits of today's list:
*Sort clean laundry & iron only what really needs it.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Take leftover ham hock out of freezer plus enough peas for tonight's frittata.
*Strain blackberry vinegar
*Do something with pears.
*Freeze more chillies.
*Do meal plans for next week.
*Feed sourdough jar.
*Continue trying to sort out problem with my knitting. I've frogged back 8cms & still can't find the point at which 103 sts wrongly became 102.
*Shake fruit gin jars.
*Sort all the library books I borrowed yesterday onto my book shelf where I try to keep them all together (to avoid fines)
*Give some serious thoughts to friend's birthday present as it is early October & I will probably need to post it.
*Start off a new charity bag.
*Fitness will be a bit more garden clearing.
Ok, no good sitting here with not a lot on, must go & get dressed & make a start.
