What small DFW things will you do w/c 23rd September?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning Monday Frugalistas,
Today's list exists only in my head! I've so many jobs I'd like to do that I intend to put my audio book on, keep the coffee flowing & just crack on & see where it leads me. Tasks will fall into the following categories:
*Kitchen - bread making, swap stuff into new fridge freezer, use more home grown produce & /or freeze it now we have functioning freezers.
*Garden - See what's ready to pick, feeding, watering, etc.
*Laundry - load 1 on cheap tariff just finishing. Two more loads to go in as today looks like the only dry day this week.
And my usual daily frugal stuff.. Packed lunch, rubber chicken, grocery budget update, two baths from one lot of hot water, knit Christmas gift, etc, etc.
Am hoping I'll be updating my dfw much later on with a few achievements, anyway.
F x2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (46/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg

* whilst watching the Wales rugby match, I've checked banking, updated spreadsheets, numbered up some dvds using rm labels, filed some cards I picked up over the weekend from CardMarket, they were all half price on our high street, (I'm hoping its not another business closing- I've spent time messaging with a friend who worked for Thomas cook this morning, such a sad situatuon) done
* buy a couple of dvds online from cex using vouchers from selling other stuff (we've looked instore for these two and they don't have them in our store or the big city one done

* pop some books back to the library whilst picking ds1 up from an after school club tonight. done
Other then that, its just general tidying and cleaning.
Take care all. Hope those regulars not posting are doing ok xxx
** checked fruit bowl and diced a couple of bruised apples into a freezer bag with some blackberries - will come in for a dessert at some point and no one was going to pick it out of the fruit bowl!
** triaged fridge, some carrots that were bendy have been peeled, blttzed with mini chopped and put in a box in the freezer to go into the next stew, curry or spag bol
** made the boys breakfast omelettes for tomorrow morning as I had the pan out doing their lunchtime wraps - making the most of the heat in the pan!
** checked tcb/quidco and there was some payable in tcb, so I've claimed it for a costalots voucher which I can use when I meet up with a friend for our monthly catch ups
** boys have decided to sell some games back to cex tooSticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
